Look no further than Merlin (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I got my name cuz I'm pretty good at magic. I magically appeared in my foster mom's fenced yard and they are still trying to figure that one out. I can also magically fit myself into my favoritest bed from when I was smaller. I'm now ready to start on this new chapter of my life with lots of hugs, puppy kisses and playtime with my new family!!! I'm around 9 months old and I come in at about 30lbs, which should put me at a fantastic size when I get myself all growed up, although I shouldn't get a whole lot bigger(35-40lbs). I love playing and am energetic, ready to share in all your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! I love people both tall and small, love playing with the other pups here at my foster home but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet. I have that innocent spirit that loves living life to the fullest, that energy that loves exploring the world around me and that playful demeanor that finds joy in everything!! I am one smart cookie (yes, my foster momma tells me so!) as I'm already house and crate trained and I know how to use the doggie door. That lets us get right to all that fun stuff...right away. I've got a beautiful coat that is pretty easy in the maintenance department, kind of a wash-n-go type of fella. You do know what that means, don't ya? Yep yep, more time for the spoil me rotten department!! Hi, Tassa is my name and if you want an all-around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay by your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help, I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food-motivated makes it easy to train me. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. Meet Hopscotch! This sweet girl was found wandering in the cold in a rural area of WA. She is now safe in a foster home and doing so well! Hopscotch is a small girl, around 33 lbs and looks to be a Kelpie mix. We're not quite sure what she is mixed with but she is full grown and will remain a nice medium size. Our vet estimates her to be 10 months old. She's playful, fun and absolutely loves the male Malinois she's being fostered with. This little peanut would love another young playful male dog in her permanent home or a very (outdoor) active person. She is house trained and her foster is working with her on some other skills like recall and crate training.  Hopscotch will alert bark when people come to the door but is friendly upon meeting people. She has a tendency to jump up in excitement but her foster is working with her on that and it is an easy issue to fix.  She likes to play with other dogs and sometimes is a bit pushy to let them know this.  Hopscotch is a lovely girl. We'd like to see her in an active home committed to training her and providing her with physical enrichment. We have not seen her with cats so we recommend her for a cat free home.  Hopscotch will be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Welcome Dixie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 9-month old Smooth Coated Collie/Kelpie is our best guess on breed. She weighs 50 pounds. She is very very loyal to her people and would be great with someone wanting a dog to go with you places or if you work from home and want a loyal partner. She is crate trained, potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She was found as a stray and her foster mom has been putting this girl through dog training. She is doing really good in her classes and is learning some more basic commands. She is a higher energy dog and would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker type person. She is lower on the shed scale. She has a lot of personality and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her best home would be with a fenced yard. She could run and play off some energy. She likes you to be outside with her as she wants to be around her family over exploring the yard all along without you. She would be fine with children as well. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccinations, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We can put you in touch with her foster mom after you put in and get your application approved. We can also set up a meet and greet if you are local in Texas. I’m in the unfortunate situation needing to rehome my beautiful dog. Please help me find a great home! Cody is 5 years old, Australian retriever/Lab mix, and 75 lbs. He is a very sweet, intelligent, and friendly dog! I was only supposed to foster him for a year, but my friend moved so could not take him back. We fell in love with Cody, but I am gone 14 hour days, and travel too frequently to give him the stability he deserves. Looking for someone retired or works from home (or part-time job), with the time to walk with Cody and practice his tricks. He’s used to being the only pet, looking for a forever home, with no pets, or small children as he’s less anxious and more relaxed at home. He’s a very smart dog, listens and doesn’t pull when walking. Recently completed dog training for anxiety/ resource guarding, which helped tremendously, so would love his next family to continue with daily 15 min training. Kobe is a 6-year-old Staffordshire Australian Cattle Dog mix who is fantastic with people and has a heart full of love to give. Fetch is his absolute favorite, and he’ll happily play all day, then curl up on the couch with you for a quiet evening, or maybe some belly scratches. Kobe is dog reactive on leash, and while he can do OK when one on one with familiar dogs, he easily gets overstimulated and needs close supervision. He also has a strong prey drive, and really would like a home where he can be the only animal. He can get a bit anxious if left alone for more than 4-6 hours. He's used to a hybrid work week (2 days a week home alone, with a sitter dropping in), so he’d do best with someone who has a flexible schedule or can arrange for a sitter to check in. Kobe has done nosework and agility for reactive dogs in the past and would be thrilled to continue either of these with a dedicated owner. If you're looking for an active, loving companion, Kobe could be the perfect fit!

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Sundae! She is loyal, happy, has boundless energy, is incredibly smart and is alert and wary of strangers. This girl is a herding breed dog who would love a home outside of the city on acreage where she can have a job to do. She is not for the sedentary dog owner. She loves to walk the perimeter of her property and in typical herding dog fashion will redirect people and alert them once she's familiar with her boundaries. Due to her herding breed, she has an irresistible impulse to herd, anything: cars, dogs, kids, etc. so an adult only home would be best for her. Sundae bonds deeply with her person and can be protective of them. She will need to be in a home where there is strong leadership. She can be reactive or show guarding behavior in stressful situations that she feels are 'threatening' to her person. She can also redirect in these situations or when displaying her herding instincts. She will need a firm hand and strong supervision when there is a lot of stimulation. She has her challenges, but she is incredibly loving and loyal to her people. She is spayed, current on her shots and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $150.
