Story
Meet Penny! A Good Samaritan found Penny as a stray and took her home to care for her until she can be adopted. This beautiful blue-eyed girl is likely no older than one year old and about 35-40 lbs. She is still fearful of new people so will need a patient home to help her adjust to a new environment. Penny does not like to be alone, but if kept on a schedule, she does well. She will need exercised twice daily before the day heats up. She enjoys laying in her crate and is working on proper crate training. She seems to know basic commands. The best home for her will need a steady, confident, experienced owner with predictable habits and even better if there are other dogs she can learn from. She is a runner, so proper leashing and a fence is a must. Penny has not been tested with cats or kids yet. We would recommend kids over 12 who understand boundaries. Interested in adopting Penny and giving her the new life she deserves? Fill out an application today!August 20, 2024, 1:33 am

Story
Meet Mosey Fields,  a very special  puppy  who is  just under one year old. Mosey has a neurological condition, most likely Cerebral Hypoplasia, which makes him a special-needs dog. Despite his challenges, Mosey is a joyful and big-hearted pup. We recently put him in a jacuzzi with a swim vest, and he learned a lot about connecting his body with his brain. Initially, Mosey used to squirm on the floor like a reptile, but now  he  walks and romps  around  without a harness. Although he still does well with a harness for stability, he can now walk  by himself  in a large carpeted bedroom area. Mosey has made  great  progress -  he  has learned to track, make eye contact, jump on and off the couch, and loves to cuddle. He has also been playful around other dogs and adores people. This little fighter will benefit from a wheelchair and  will  thrive in a loving home. Consider making him a part of your family, and he will return the love and continue to grow into the best version of himself. If you're interested in adopting Mosey, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Mosey's cuteness. Our dog adoption fee, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.August 19, 2024, 2:48 pm

He came to us from the Coachella shelter. He is approximately 50 pounds and he is an Aussie/boxer/shep/pit mix basically a mutt. So far we know he does well with other dogs that are not alpha and that are playful like him And he should go to a low traffic home. Not a lot of people coming in and out.  Unfortunately, we do not know his history to put him with kids or cats. So please no kids under 15, no cats, rabbits or chickens etc.  If you are interested in meeting him please fill out an application. https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.htmlAugust 19, 2024, 8:00 pm

Iza was a dog we agreed to take in over a year ago in Armenia that had been wasting away at the shelter overloaded with dogs but the CDC had shut down travel, and we finally got approval to bring her over. She’s approx 6 and great with dogs and despite her past, an absolute sweetheart with people. Iza, like many strays in Armenia, was emaciated and neglected. There are a lot of people in the world that don’t find value in a dog’s life as she was deliberately hit by a car and left for dead. The accident didn’t take away her will to live, although it took away her vision. Thankfully good people exist, and we appreciate our good friend, Susanna, who took her in and got her vetted. She is 100% blind and boarding is not an option for her as she will need a home environment to help her better transition to this new life. She’ll need some guidance as she navigates thru a new environment. She is very dog-friendly and lived with 180 dogs. To meet her submit an application at- https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.htmlAugust 19, 2024, 8:00 pm
