Story
Hello my name is Aubrey and I'm an Australian Shepherd. I'll be 5 years old on December 11, 2024. I've been with my owner since 3 month's of age she has all of my paperwork and keeps it very well organized. We have enjoyed our time together greatly from jogs, long walks, days at the quiet waters park or the beach. Me and and her were so outgoing and active. Which is super important for my breed type, even though I have a really great temper for my breed. Well in February of 2023 my owner had her very first "tiny human!" Which I unfortunately have not gotten used too! I feel very uncomfortable around small children. I don't bark or try too lunge at them or anyone but if it comes down to it. I will defend myself, I have done so twice with the tiny human in my house. I cannot be around small children or live with other dogs. Ive also had traumatic experiences at the dog bark and am very selective when it comes to who I make friends with luckily I know basic commands and walk on leash well

Story
Teddy is the most loving, loyal and sweet dog in the world. He is an Australian Shepherd through and through and has very strong herding instincts. He is very territorial and protective of our home because he thinks that is his job and he loves his family so much. However, this has caused him to nip multiple people in an attempt to herd them away. This behavior severely restricts our freedoms as a young family, especially now that we have a baby. We can’t have family come over to visit and we have gotten to a point where we wonder if it would be better for him and for us if he found a home that was better suited to his needs. The ideal home for Teddy would be someone with a big fenced in yard who does not have a lot of guests come over and who stays home often and can throw the ball for him or let him run daily. Someone who is looking for a best friend who will be your shadow, who will never leave your side, who will protect you and provide you with endless love and friendship!
