He adores people, treats, car rides, and snuggling up on the bed or couch with his favorite humans. Not a Fan Of (But Will Tolerate): Baths. Really Dislikes: Loud vacuums and nail clippers! But hey, who does love those? Great at: Cashew is a little superstar! He walks like a pro on a leash, knows tons of tricks, and is a master at crate time! Not-So-Great: Cashew struggles with a bit of leash reactivity towards other dogs, but does not care if he’s in the same play area as them! Meet Magellan! He had been living on the street for a few months when someone asked if we could take him in. He’s sooooo happy and bouncy! He weighs 51 pounds and is about a year old, still a baby with sparkling white teeth! He is GREAT with the other dogs in the yard, but plays a little too rough for smaller dogs. He has a chill disposition and isn’t dominant with the other dogs. Magellan is super smart and did great during his brief time in a temporary home. He learned sit and down quickly, and he does well in his crate. He loves to cuddle. Magellan loves to play! Hello, my name is Kaylee! I'm a MINI Aussie Shepherd mix, weighing only 30 lbs. I'm 1.5 years old but wise beyond my years.....eh, year. I was previously with a family that did not have time for me and kept me crated a lot. I do well with not going potty in my crate, but I can be a little whiney when in there. I'm just sick of that life! I'd rather be exploring or getting cuddles. I can be a little anxious at first, and may be more outgoing in a home without so many dogs (6-7 in foster home). I'm just very gentle, not pushy, and will quietly wait my turn for love. I do great with the other dogs though! We love to play and wrestle all over the house. I am great on a leash and do well in the car also. I would love a family to build my confidence and show me the world.

Meet Rodeo, a five-year-old mini Australian Shepherd who weighs 30 pounds. Her name might be Rodeo, but this gal is the farthest thing from the chaos and excitement of a good, old-fashioned rodeo. We should have named her Spa Day. As a former full-time breeder, Rodeo's first 5 years were difficult. After raising multiple litters she was put up for auction to start the cycle over again when she was saved and surrendered to rescue. Rodeo is not your typical Aussie; she is calm and peaceful. This laid-back, quiet little girl is looking for a relaxed and patient adopter to help her continue to grow into her personality. She loves her foster mom and gets along well with the other dogs in the home. Another small dog would give her courage but not required. She is potty-trained and crate-trained, but she is so well-behaved that her foster mom trusts her loose in the house when she is at work. Rodeo needs a fenced area outside an exterior door to go in and out easily and safely for potty breaks. While she does prefer indoors, she also enjoys hanging out on the back porch with her foster mom and siblings and looking out at the woods and peaceful lake. At just 30 pounds, she will be a great companion for someone who enjoys life's quiet moments. Rodeo has not been around small children, and we suspect they could scare her with their enthusiasm for everything. Any children in her new home would need to be older and respectful of animals.
