Story
Meet adorable Fern, the last puppy looking for a furever home from the Great Outdoors Litter. Fern is smart, super sweet, and snuggly. Her favorite thing to do is to romp and wrestle with her foster fur siblings, so she requires a home with at least one other energetic dog. Fern is extremely bright and learned the commands "sit" and "lay down" in record time. She is working hard at potty training. She is crate trained, but at night she doesn't even need it as she sleeps happily curled up with her foster mom. Her birthday is October 3rd. Fern's beautiful momma (adoptable Willow Blue) is a Husky/Shepherd/Chihuahua mix and is on the small size at just 28 pounds. An Australian Shepherd was said to be the possible father. Fern was the smallest of her litter and likely will be 40 pounds or under fully grown. Puppies at this age cannot be left alone or crated for longer than 4 hours at a time to be successful with house training. Fern has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines and preventatives. The only thing missing is a forever home as sweet as she is!

Story
Sophie is a sweet girl looking for a new forever home. She is a little shy at first but has tons of energy and needs someone that can give her lots of walks and play time enless games of fetch. She is good with kids and other dogs but does seem to shy away when around other dogs and we are unsure how she would be with cats. She is crate trained and knows a few basic commands but not many. She is a smart girl and Im sure she could know more with some patience and training.

Story
Priscilla was rescued about two months ago, but unfortunately she does not get along with my cat so I am rehoming her. She is roughly 33 pounds and does not shed (she’s an Australian shepard mix). She is a very relaxed and loving dog once she gets adjusted. She loves cuddling, giving kisses, and cheese. Priscilla is cat aggressive, but gets along with other dogs. She does have anxiety so a quiet home with no cats would be great for her! I do think another dog in the home would help build her confidence though. She knows how to sit, lay down, and she is fully crate trained (she loves her kennel). When she is in the kennel she does not go potty in it, and will go as soon as you take her outside. She does have a few accidents in the house still though. If you are interested in this beautiful girl please contact me at 5733150392!

Story
Daisy is a mini Australian shepherd. She is a very sweet girl, crate trained, stays close by (she'll be your shadow!) and follows all commands. She is easy to train and loves to work for treats! Her favorite things are laying in water in the summertime, playing in the snow, belly rubs and learning new commands! Since she is a herding dog, she would do best in a household with no kids or kids that are at least 12 yrs old, no cats, and an owner that is around all the time that can give her lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Maybe even someone with a fenced in backyard. I currently have an invisible fence which she stays inside of without issue. She would be best in a quiet household and someone that can dedicate time to mental stimulation and training as she is extremely intelligent.

Osa is 1 1/2 years old Aussie mix and oozes energy out of every fur follicle she has…and the girl’s got some seriously luscious fur! She’s a sweet girl, gets along with dogs, and is learning to leave the cats alone. Osa is looking for an active family who understands the breed and is willing to continue with her training. She’ll need older kids as she doesn’t care who or what is in her way when she’s fetching a ball! 10 out of 10 fluff butt, 10 out of 10 energy, 100% cute!February 24, 2025, 10:59 am

Paisley is a good girl, and I love her. But she deserves more room to run and attention that I can't give right now. Apartment life is not for an Aussie! I work full-time and am in graduate school; a high-intelligence, high-maintenance breed is not a good fit right now.

Story
Meet Poppy, the embodiment of youthful exuberance. She's a bundle of joy, her spirit infectious. Poppy's sweetness is a balm to the soul, her friendliness a testament to her love for companionship. She's smart, quick to learn new tricks, and playful, always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. Her energy is boundless, a testament to her zest for life. Happiness is her default state, her tail a constant metronome of joy. Poppy's intelligence, playfulness, and affectionate nature make her an ideal companion. Imagine coming home to her wagging tail, the embodiment of unconditional love. Picture your weekends filled with laughter, play, and an abundance of happiness. Poppy loves to play with the other dogs and her foster home. She enjoys the young two legged humans but, due to her exuberance, she would do best with older kids. Poppy is learning a thing or two from the confident, dog savvy house cat however, a less confident cat could be viewed as prey. Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworms at her vet visit. She has already started her treatment. Don’t let that prevent you from adopting this beautiful girl. If you feel this is the dog for you, you can bring her home, see her through heartworm treatment, and the rescue will pay the vet bill. Adopt Poppy and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend, a bundle of joy, and an endless source of happiness. Poppy's adoption fee is $300.00 which includes 3 rounds of shots, spay, microchip and 1 month of heartworm preventative. If you are interested, please complete the Adoption Application on our website at a4apetpantry.org Disclaimer: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of our dogs, we are only guessing at breed mix.  March 5, 2025, 1:27 am

Story
Meet Nyx, our sweet little three-month-old bundle of joy! According to her sister’s DNA test, Nyx is a one-of-a-kind mix! She’s mostly Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd, and Labrador, with a splash of Miniature Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Border Collie, Weimaraner, Shar-Pei, Chow Chow, Chihuahua, Rat Terrier, Beagle, and even American Eskimo Dog! We like to call her a true mutt, but she’s perfect in every way. Her unique mix of breeds makes her even more special!! Nyx is as smart as she is sweet—she’s eager to please and highly treat-motivated, making training a breeze! She’s already crate-trained and partially housebroken. Since she’s still a puppy, she’s working on holding it through the night, so a consistent routine will help her thrive. She’s currently learning commands and is super excited to show off what she knows. Although Nyx hasn’t had much experience on walks yet, she’s going to catch on quickly to leash training. Based on her breed mix, she’s going to need lots of exercise and outdoor fun. She’d love to have a dog friend in her new home to play with and learn from, plus she loves cuddling on laps with anyone who’ll give her attention! Nyx is a social little girl who loves everyone—she’d be so happy in a home with kids and other pets. She’s ready to bring joy, love, and cuddles to a lucky family. If you think Nyx is the perfect addition to your home, please apply to meet her on our website! luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application. March 15, 2025, 1:36 pm

Story
Meet Irene! This sweet Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd, Labrador mix (and a bit of everything else!) is the perfect little mutt with a big heart. Irene is a spunky and adventurous girl who is ready for an active family to call her own. Irene is smart and already impressing everyone with her potty training – she’ll even paw at the door when she needs to go outside! She’s excelling at learning commands too, with “sit” being a big win, especially when treats are involved. She’s super treat-motivated, so ongoing training will be a breeze with lots of positive reinforcement. This energetic girl loves playing with other dogs, and she’d thrive in a home with a dog companion to keep her busy. A big fenced yard would be ideal for her to run and play, and once she gets the hang of leash training, she’s going to love going on walks! While Irene hasn’t been around kids yet, her fun-loving personality makes us think she’ll be great with them. When she’s not playing with her dog friends or chewing on toys, she will seek out her people when wants a little extra love and attention! Irene does enjoy her independence, so don’t be surprised if you find her happily playing on her own from time to time. Irene is ready to find her forever home where she can get all the love, exercise, and attention she deserves. If you think you’re the right family for this smart, loving, and energetic girl, apply to meet her on our website! luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application. March 15, 2025, 1:36 pm
