She’s a sweet girl, gets along with dogs, and is learning to leave the cats alone. Osa is looking for an active family who understands the breed and is willing to continue with her training. Meet adorable Fern, the last puppy looking for a furever home from the Great Outdoors Litter. Fern is smart, super sweet, and snuggly. Her favorite thing to do is to romp and wrestle with her foster fur siblings, so she requires a home with at least one other energetic dog. Fern is extremely bright and learned the commands "sit" and "lay down" in record time. She is working hard at potty training. She is crate trained, but at night she doesn't even need it as she sleeps happily curled up with her foster mom. Her birthday is October 3rd. Fern's beautiful momma (adoptable Willow Blue) is a Husky/Shepherd/Chihuahua mix and is on the small size at just 28 pounds. An Australian Shepherd was said to be the possible father. Fern was the smallest of her litter and likely will be 40 pounds or under fully grown. Puppies at this age cannot be left alone or crated for longer than 4 hours at a time to be successful with house training. Fern has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines and preventatives. The only thing missing is a forever home as sweet as she is!

Meet Poppy, the embodiment of youthful exuberance. She's a bundle of joy, her spirit infectious. Poppy's sweetness is a balm to the soul, her friendliness a testament to her love for companionship. She's smart, quick to learn new tricks, and playful, always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. Her energy is boundless, a testament to her zest for life. Happiness is her default state, her tail a constant metronome of joy. Poppy's intelligence, playfulness, and affectionate nature make her an ideal companion. Imagine coming home to her wagging tail, the embodiment of unconditional love. Picture your weekends filled with laughter, play, and an abundance of happiness. Poppy loves to play with the other dogs and her foster home. She enjoys the young two legged humans but, due to her exuberance, she would do best with older kids. Poppy is learning a thing or two from the confident, dog savvy house cat however, a less confident cat could be viewed as prey. Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworms at her vet visit. She has already started her treatment. Don’t let that prevent you from adopting this beautiful girl. If you feel this is the dog for you, you can bring her home, see her through heartworm treatment, and the rescue will pay the vet bill. Paisley is a good girl, and I love her. But she deserves more room to run and attention that I can't give right now. Apartment life is not for an Aussie! I work full-time and am in graduate school; a high-intelligence, high-maintenance breed is not a good fit right now.
