Story
Remington is a Australian Shepherd mix who turns 11 in Jan 2025.  He would do best in an active home or with a "job".  He knows all of his commands and will proudly show you all his tricks for a treat.  He has a great coat that is easy to manage compared to most Aussie's and is a sweet heart for grooming.  Remington needs to be in a home without small kids, he has had little exposure to kids and can be reactive to quick motions.  We do believe with time and training he can work through it.  Once he has adjusted he becomes a cuddle bug.  He has lived with other dogs his whole life but can be selective of new dogs.  He does not seem interested in cats but to our knowledge has never lived with them.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.   His adoption fee is $400 To adopt Remington, email us at kakf3133@gmail.comDecember 22, 2024, 10:02 pm

Story
Don't let the gray hair fool you, Jazzy is full of energy and loves to give hugs.  She is very well mannered and loves to go for walks and play but also enjoys naptime in the afternoon.  She is very protective of her people and has a little bit of resource guarding with other dogs so we recommend that she is an only pet.  And while she would probably be fine with kids we recommend older kids.  She has never met a cat though so we don't know about those.  She is housebroken, crate trained, knows her basic commands, and does great in the car and on the leash.  She would love a nice place to retire in.   Her adoption fee is $400 To adopt Jazzy, email us at kakf3133@gmail.comDecember 22, 2024, 10:23 pm

Luna is a very sweet, senior girl.  She is very friendly and well mannered. She does well on walks but also LOVES just chilling on the couch with you.  She is housebroken, crate trained, does great in the car as well, knows her commands, all around great dog. She has lived with other dogs and kids and does great with both of them.  She has never met a cat though so we aren't sure and she was reported to chase chickens so probably not a great fit.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, fecal and hwt neg.  Her adoption fee is $400 To adopt Luna, email us at kakf3133@gmail.comJanuary 6, 2025, 11:08 am

Story
Meet Penny Formerly Known as Porsia: Ready for Her Forever Home! Hi, I'm Penny! I'm just over 1 year old, around 40 pounds, and I recently made my way up from Texas with my adorable puppies. I was a great mama, but now that my pups are weaned, it's my turn to find a forever family to call my own! I may be part Australian Shepherd or Kelpie—whatever my mix, one thing's for sure: I'm stunning! With one blue eye and one brown eye, I’m quite the head-turner. In my foster home, I live with kids and another dog, and I absolutely love them both. I’m still young, so sometimes I get a little too excited and jump up, but my foster family is helping me work on that. I'm doing great with potty training—when I go outside, I do my business right away. I love toys and playing fetch! I’ll bring the ball back to you every time, ready for another throw. I’m also super affectionate; I enjoy giving kisses and cuddling up on the couch. At night and during the day when my foster family is out, I rest in my crate. I might whine for a couple of minutes when I first go in, but I quickly settle down and sleep peacefully through the night. I’d love to find a family of my own—hopefully just in time for the holidays. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and beautiful companion, I’m your girl. Let’s make this season one to remember. Ready to meet Penny? Fill out an application and make her dream of a forever home come true! Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . At just 12 pounds, she’s the perfect combination of playful energy and cuddly sweetness, ready to bring love and joy to her future family. Nova’s Story: Nova’s journey began on the streets of Texas, where her young mother, a stray, gave birth to her and her siblings on Halloween. Despite being underweight and struggling to survive, their mother did her best to care for her puppies until a kind rescuer brought the family to a shelter.
