URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- North Potomac, MD Meet Meatball! He is an 2 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 27 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm prevention. Meatball is fearful of strangers! He is very protective of his family inside the home and will bark at strangers if they come inside or near the owner’s home. No younger children, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around older children or cats. He is good with dogs! He is housebroken, but isn’t crate-trained. Meatball bit the owner’s younger child’s friend in December 2024. The owner’s son and his friend were playing in the basement. Meatball realized there was someone new in their house, so he ran up and jumped on her son’s friend. The owner is surrendering him because she has younger children and he doesn’t do well with younger children. He needs to go by 3/31! If you think you can provide a great home for Meatball, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. She is a 7-year-old Australian Shepherd mix (the other breed is unknown) and she weighs around 75 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Bailey is good with cats! She hasn’t been tested around children. She is good with the other dogs inside of the home but is nervous around dogs outside of the home. Meet Bella (brown and white)! She is a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and weighs around 65 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please read the bio of the rescue you are interested in to insure you are a match if you are a match the first step is to complete the online adoption application  Ty was originally adopted in April of 2023 from us. Unfortunately his mom moved to a condo and they said he had to go. He has learned alot and is house and pad trained. He does pretty well on leash. He is a sweet mini Aussie who is romping ready to find his furever family. This boy has lots of energy and would do best with an active family.    If you’re looking for a companion that can keep up with the kids, join your family for a hike, but then relax next to your feet at the end of the day, this may be the perfect breed for you.  Ty is up to date on his vaccines,  dewormed,  microchipped and current on preventatives. He is also neutered.
