Story
His name is Cody. We've had him since he was 2 months. He is now 5. I love him so much! I am a single parent with one child. He Graduated last year and has his own life. I lived in the same home for the last 10 yrs until 6 months ago. I work and my son goes to school and work. We now live in a townhome with no back yard for Cody to run and play anymore. I don't like having to put him in his kennel majority of the day. I don't like that he is alone so much now. He is a really good pup, I just can't have him anymore. I want him to be able to run and play like he used to. He is house trained, crate trained, and he will go lay down in his kennel to go to bed even if you don't tell him to. He deserves a better home. It hurts to say but it makes me sad everyday I leaving to go to work. He's got those eyes, they talk. If anyone wants a great companion by their side, he would be the one. He gets along with our cat, kids, and everyone. He's really awesome and that's why I am here. Thank you!

I am a young guy (only 3 or 4 months old) and have started out my life homeless. I am hoping you can be my forever family. According to my nice foster family, I am a sweet boy, with a happy disposition. I am a little shy at first, but I think it is simply because I have not had a lot of exposure to a lot of things. I do warm up quickly and give the best hugs and kisses. I am gentle, and have a cute little personality that really starts to shine with a couple of toys or out in the yard. I am enjoying the company of other dogs and am learning to play with them. I am doing great with crate training, and am doing a great job learning the ins and outs of housetraining. My foster mom says that I have the cutest little head and face with the sweetest floppy ears. If you are looking for your new best friend please consider me! I'm looking for my new best friend too, and maybe we could be each others! I can't wait to meet you. Story
Bailey is an incredible dog and we love her dearly, but she has become extremely anxious around our son making her very unpredictable around him. We know that she deserves a loving home with someone who can give her the time and energy she deserves without the fear of acting in her anxiety. She is a 7 year old Aussie mix and about 40lbs. Bailey is very healthy and up to date on all of her vaccinations and vet exams. She is loyal to a fault, loves humans (not so much the small ones), adores walks and lots of belly scratches. Bailey would do great in a home where she can get lots of exercise and play without the stress of large groups or little ones. She is fully potty trained and has no medications or health history. We just want to find the right fit for her and love her as much as we have over these last 7 years.

Story
Boomer, or Bam as he’s affectionately called, has been my loyal companion for nearly a decade. Though his muzzle has turned white with age, his spirit remains as youthful as ever. He still bounds with energy, but more often than not, you’ll find him sprawled in a sunny patch, soaking up the warmth. When the sun isn’t out, he’s curled up on the sofa, bed, or in some hilariously upside-down position, lost in dreams. His love for snacks is unmatched—apples, peanut butter, and coconut oil are his favorites. And while he adores his human, he’s just as friendly with other dogs, always greeting them with a wagging tail. I had hoped to care for Boomer for all his days, but life has taken an unexpected turn. My greatest wish is to find him a home where he’ll be showered with love, sunlit naps, and endless treats. He deserves nothing less than a family who will cherish him as much as I do. Boomer’s journey isn’t over—it’s just finding a new path.

Story
Crater is a pup who mostly prefers to sit back and observe his siblings shenanigans. He’s a snuggly boy and really enjoys human interaction over rough housing with the other pups. He loves toys and making funny faces. If he catches you trying to take a photo of him, he will run to the camera to put his nose against it. He thinks he’ll be a lap dog forever (and of course would love nothing more!)

Please remember that Doodles need regular grooming. I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
