Available In Old Lyme, CT This very handsome dude is Kumo! He is currently in a board/train facility in CT. He is a 2 year old energetic boy. After working with him I have learned that the best place for him would be a place with no children or other animals and an area that will have a fenced in yard with a calm area neighborhood. Kumo is a young energetic dog that loves to eat. Kumo knows his basic commands and tries to push the envelope when it come to wait and stay. When he relaxing he would prefer to be left alone. Kumo enjoys his chew toys. Kumo needs time to warm up to new people. He likes to be asked to do something over being pushed physically. Kumo will go far in the right home. He wants to work and be loved. Kumo likes to walk, jog, snuggle and get lots of pets. He is high energy with a big appetite. Kumo is neutered, current on immunizations, housebroken and on preventatives. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- North Branford, CT Meet Kylo! He is an 3 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 25 lbs. He is microchipped and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t neutered or up to date on shots. Kylo is fearful of strangers, but is very sweet once he gets to know you! No kids, cats, or dogs, due to his reactivity! Kylo has bitten the owner’s 3 year old daughter several times as she walked past him. He also growls when she walks near him. The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t do well with small children. He needs to find a new home as soon as possible. If you think you can provide a great home for Kylo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. Bear is a 1 year old Aussie (we’re guessing) mix. He is as sweet as can be and very curious. He was found emaciated and covered in ticks and fleas. His family was not able to be located, so his finder contacted us. He’s now flea and tick free, is super soft after his bath and ready to gain weight! He’s currently 30lbs. Bear is heartworm and parvo negative, is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. He is crate trained and is doing very well with house breaking. This handsome BEAR cub is one of the nine GORGEOUS #Aussie #flatcoat #newf #puppies we #rescued from a woman who called our vet down south to have them euthanized! Bear is a gorgeous 5 month old 40 lbs super sweet and good natured puppy! He loves to swim and adores other dogs!! His foster mom says ”Bear is the happiest little boy. He is pure sweetness! A people loving pup! The more the merrier! And he is soooo adorable in person. His pics don’t do him justice! He has the softest teddy bear coatHe is gentle and loving, very social and happiest by your side. Bear adores running and playing with our big dogs and is soooo good in the house. No puppy nipping or jumping up. He would be perfect for someone who wants that dog who will always be by their side - a wonderful companion.” We require adopters to have a safe and secure backyard - not electric or Fido fences as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons we do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing. The adoption fee is $675 which includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventatives at time of adoption and age appropriate spay/neuter.

Bear is an energetic 1 year old Australian Shepherd. She is very loving, sweet and playful. She loves running around the yard and going for walks. Bear loves staying close to her people. We think she would do better as either the only dog in the house or with a dog that has the same energy level. We adopted Bear from a private owner who could not afford to keep her. My daughter was hoping to train her to be a service dog, but we quickly realized that she is not the right dog for that. Bear is high energy and needs an owner who is willing to give her lots of exercise and mental stimulation. We would like to find a loving home for Bear as soon as possible because she is just too much for our 12 year old lab. Bear loves to be pet and to cuddle. She is so sweet, loving and affectionate. If Bear sounds right for your home, please let us know!
