Dakota is a gentle, lovable dog and extremely smart. She is 11 years old, but still active without being aggressive. She does have a little trouble getting into vehicles, we used a ramp. Extremely friendly with people. She lived with a cat for 10 years and they were the best of friends. She will interact with other dogs, sniffing noses but then goes on about her business.

Story
Hello, My name is Nono and I have a beautiful babygirl Crimson. In 2022, I rescued her from the shelter in Phoenix, Oregon. A friend got her for me for my birthday. We have been living life together. Crimson had really bad separation anxiety when I first got her. So, I had to take her everywhere with me. I took her to work and school with me. She is well trained now, to not be anxious when I leave. She knows when I leave for work now so she doesn’t get anxious. And she understands I’ll come back home for her. Also, she was well-trained in the house and where ever I take her with me. She is so friendly with people. She loves to get petted. She used to be a farm dog. So she loves being outside the nature. She has two coats. she gets too hot in summer time. But she loves the snow and she loves being outside when it’s cold. She is a very great, loving emotional support dog. I am moving to the south pacific. I cannot ship her out of Hawaii. I hope to find a great home for her.

If you are looking for an active dog with incredible intelligence, look no further than handsome Tocho. This mature boy loves his toys so much that he will often rinse them off in his pool whenever they too get dirty. His intelligence shines through with his hat full of tricks consisting of Sit, Wait, Shake, and Down! Not to mention he walks well on leash and is a master of fetch! He will often drop the ball right between your feet just to make sure you don't lose it and can throw it for him again!  Tocho has been known to do well with most respectful dogs so he may enjoy having a canine companion or two! He has been exposed to cats and some livestock in his past so he may also do well with other furry friends in the right home! His loyalty knows no bounds so once it's earned, you will never lose it! He is fairly active but wouldn't mind having a nice bed to lay on and chew on his toy.  If you want to see if this intelligent man is perfect for you, come to the ranch to meet him today! Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee.
