Story
Denali is a young, neutered male, vaccinated and microchipped. He has been tested for heartworms. He has beautiful blue eyes, and is three-legged. His leg was extremely mangled, and it was amputated. This does not affect him whatsoever. He is a well-behaved boy, on the smaller side, and is in fantastic health. His ears are the size of his head. Adoption application at cannoncountycommunityforanimals.org Email for any questions about Denali.

Story
Hello, my name is Kaylee! I'm a MINI Aussie Shepherd mix, weighing only 30 lbs. I'm 1.5 years old but wise beyond my years.....eh, year. I was previously with a family that did not have time for me and kept me crated a lot. I do well with not going potty in my crate, but I can be a little whiney when in there. I'm just sick of that life! I'd rather be exploring or getting cuddles. I can be a little anxious at first, and may be more outgoing in a home without so many dogs (6-7 in foster home). I'm just very gentle, not pushy, and will quietly wait my turn for love. I do great with the other dogs though! We love to play and wrestle all over the house. I am great on a leash and do well in the car also. I would love a family to build my confidence and show me the world.

Her mom is a gorgeous, smart Australian Shepherd and we think the dad is an Australian cattle dog so Sasha may speak with an accent lol! Shasha will be a medium sized dog when grown and will make a great family member. Shasha was a part of an accidental, unplanned litter but mom is on her way to getting to spayed so no more pups for this family :-). Sasha is of course the cute tiny puppy pictured below and we also posted pics of his mom, the chocalate and white longer hair Aussie Shep and her dad the gray, black, tan, silver Aussie Cattle Dog. Both Australian Shepherd and Australian cattle dogs are super smart breeds and very hardy and athletic and loving. Sasha will be your best hiking buddy, great agility dog, or just awesome friend! They are very loyal by nature. The first step to meet and possibly foster or adopt Sasha is to fill out this application....link is below.... copy and paste into your browser: https://tinyurl.com/keelysadoptionday

Story
What we know about Rusty is that his owner passed away and he was extremely sad and confused in the shelter, but has really warmed up with us and his fosters so we are so glad to see that! He seems good with other dogs and cats and does well. He is very overweight and needs to lose probably around 20lbs so his new family must be on board with continuing on his weight loss journey because it seems to be negatively affecting his ability to walk any distance, etc. He has already lost some since he has been with his fosters and we have already seen an increase in his activity level so we think this guy wants to be an active boy! Rusty was seen by the vet and thankfully they do not think his walking issues stem from an injury or issue, but from having to deal with the large amount of extra weight that he carries, but, like we mentioned, he has gotten better since he has started to lose the weight so yay for that! He has been on a pain med to help with any pain but it is very possible that as he loses more weight that his pain and discomfort will decrease and we could see the meds going down. Rusty is just an incredibly sweet guy but needs some extra help with his wellness journey but he is definitely ready to find his forever home!August 16, 2024, 11:06 am

Story
Courtesy Post- Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Ashland City, TN Meet Mr. Man! He is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix and weighs 70 lbs. He is neutered and microchipped, but isn’t up to date on shots (except for rabies) or on heartworm prevention. Mr. Man is great with kids, cats, and dogs! No farm animals, due to his reactivity! He is housebroken, but isn’t crate-trained. Mr. Man can herd his people and will playfully wrap his mouth around their hands and feet when he is excited. Mr. Man is positive for heart worms and is currently being treated using doxycycline and mixidectin (vie topical advantage). He has 2-3 treatments left to go. The current owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t do well with her goats. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Mr. Man, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Mr. Man. Owner’s Contact Information: Leslie at ladyotgarden@gmail.com.

Story
This litter of puppies is ready to quench your thirst for unconditional love. Named from off-brand soda they have caffeinated energy and enjoy running, jumping, and playing all over the place. This group is "Soda-rn" cute you won't be able to resist them. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, have age-appropriate vaccines, and are on flea/tick & heartworm prevention. If you are looking for a new member to your family, one of these siblings might just be a "pop'tastic" match. You can adopt either of these "bubbly delights" into your heart for $150. **All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside-especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a "tie out" or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced in yard.**

Story
I have 2 border collies that I need to rehome and they need to go together. Ellie Mae is 11 years old black with a little white on her chest and feet and is spayed and Microchipped. Mozzie is a 5 year old male that is black and white. He is abca reg. And is not neutered. He weighs 65 lbs and they both love to play. They have never been apart. They are very nice with other animals and children. They are very obedient and loving dogs. I lost the place I was living and can not keep them where I am staying now. I have a week to find them a new home. I love them very much. But I'm 60 years old and I'm no longer able to keep them. There rabies vaccination just expired in July 2024. I had it given to them last year at Tractor Supply in Lebanon, TN right before my husband passed away. They were raised around horses and chickens
