Story
Buddy is a sweet dog that loves other dogs. He does have hardware in his back left leg because he jumped out of a side by side and broke his leg, but he gets around fine. He would be great at a dog park and around other dogs. He is a little shy but once he warms up he is a great addition to any family.

Story
Bumper is a 4 year old standard Australia shepherd. He is a silly goofy dog with tons of energy, he would be better placed with someone with ample room for him to run or someone who can work out his energy! He does have a flea allergy so keeping him flea free is imperative!

Story
Duke has completed a long term training program and is now ready for the next chapter of his life. Duke was not treated well in the past and was pretty feral when we got him, but has come a long way in learning that humans can be nice. Duke is extremely cautious of new situations, people, & other dogs. It is my belief based on working with him for the past 2 years that Duke was completely feral & much less accepting of human interaction that originally believed. Once Duke gives you his trust, he is affectionate, playful, & fun to interact with. If pushed too hard, too fast, Duke will shut down temporarily & re-emerge when he is ready. Although Duke has no known bite history it is believed that if placed in an extremely stressful situation where he felt trapped, he would go into self-preservation defense mode, so he needs a very specific home. This sweet boy is extremely cautious with new people. Slow introductions & trust building helps him to willingly approach people he has been introduced to. Duke has exhibited same interest and disinterest to both men and women. No children under the age of 14yrs is recommended. He does not do well with younger high energy children. Duke has been dog selective. He has done best with female dogs but has accepted & played with male dogs that were established in the home when he arrived. Slow introductions strongly recommended. He has shown no prey drive including barn cats & chickens near but not easily accessible Duke has shown extremely limited interest in balls, stuffed toys, and chew toys but is an extremely athletic dog who can climb 6ft fencing. Smooth wood privacy fencing is required. Duke is 4 years old, neutered, current on immuizations and on preventatives. If you think this boy is a good fit for you and that you want to give him the life he deserves, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Aloof doesn’t even begin to explain it!  Meet Miro - wonderdog and wonderful dog   Miro is a 2-3 year old purebred Aussie. And no, he isn’t ignoring you - he’s just a little extra special and deaf   Miro is the result of some bad breeding but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad dog, he’s the sweetest ball of energy you’ll ever meet!  Miro would love to find a home where he is either an only dog or with a dog who is just as playful as he is. Miro doesn’t understand the largeness of his bark and when he gets excited with other dogs he can be quite chatty!  Miro is house trained, crate trained and is doing well on a harness vs a leash.  Miro just needs someone willing to look past the fact he’s deaf and realise he’s a brilliant dog who wants his own brilliant home!!

Story
Our daughter was born with a super rare genetic condition that requires our full time attention. Prior to her birth we had time to play with Olly and Lucy take them for long walks and show them all of our love and affection. Since the birth of my daughter we are unable to give them the exercise and attention that they need. I would love to see them go to a new home where they can get the affection, attention, and exercise that they need. They are fantastic dogs and very obedient and affectionate. They are 6 years old and a fifty-fifty mix of Australian Shepherd and Catahoula Leopard dog. Olly has started to have vision problems in one of his eyes but he is not blind and the doctors say that he is not in pain.
