Story
Marmalade is a Aussie/heeler mix we believe, although the vet has her listed as an Australian Shepard. She’s a little overweight but she is the sweetest lady. She’s unfazed by noises and enjoys cuddling as well as chilling in her kennel. Shes intelligent and learns commands fast. She already knows sit and stay. She was surrendered from her old family for “nipping at housemates” however we don’t know what the housemates were. It was implied to be a larger family with other animals & kids. Since she’s overweight we’re assuming the issue was lack of exercise and stimulation because she is an absolute joy at our house (no kids/animals). The shelter said her documents say she loves kids and dogs but “can be a little high energy around them”. Because she’s doing so well with us we prefer she go to someone with no kids or other pets as well. We love her already and are heartbroken to have to rehome her. Please text/call with any questions! Story
Boots is very fun and always ready to go, he’s an Australian shepherd/ Blue heeler. He loves to play fetch and be outside, always has energy to do anything. A couple things, I want to re home because he deserves a bigger space and to be in a outside scenario, he’s very nervous and protective with strangers, has nipped a couple people because would try to pet him. He knows basic commands to sit, stay and lay down, knows his name. I want somebody who is willing to fix his behavior issues with people, he is a Covid puppy so there for one is a big mistake of not socializing him as much as a pup. I really want him to be happier and better trained. He’s about 3 years old , black and white paws, has rabies shot. Thank you.

Story
Chimi was found in a backyard in San Angelo, and no owners were able to be located. She is a playful girl who loves fetch with her ball, and tug-o-war. She can be shy and timid at times, so will need to be brought out of her shell. She can get along with other dogs, but as she is a dominant type of dog, would be best in a single dog household. She doesn't like change very much, as it makes her anxious, so would prefer to be in a home with low excitement/change and low traffic. However, she can be made more comfortable with change by bringing her favorite toys along with her. She can be slow to warm up to certain humans, which makes her decision to give love feel even more rewarding when it does happen. She likes walks in quiet, non-busy parks, and likes a good backyard to chase the ball around in. She knows plenty of commands, like sit, lay down, stay, bedtime/go to bed, and go potty. She loves treats, and is not a picky eater. She is up to date on her shots, and has full vet records.

Story
We have had Foxy and her sister since they were pups, born Sept 23, 2023. Foxy is smart and a sweet tempered dog. She likes to play catch, she loves to swim, play tug-of-war, and chase with other dogs. She has never hurt a child or dog. I must rehome her because, if given an opportunity, she chases chickens and sheep. Foxy is trained to respond to basic commands, she even obeys a six-year-old who plays with her often. She has been a great dog around kids and other dogs, but I cannot trust her around other animals. Perhaps cows would be okay; she weighs about 38 lbs. I do attribute her presence and barking to scaring away predators who come for our sheep and chickens. She lives outside in a small yard, with a warm sleeping area. Foxy would like a larger play area, free of chickens and baby livestock. She travels well in a car or the back of a pick-up truck around the land. Thank for considering her.
