We got Bernie when he was about 8 weeks old around December of 2019. He a miniature tri-color Australia Shepherd. His fur is silky and his tail is docked. His eyes are brown with a blue/gray swirl at the bottom of both eyes. He loves to be outdoors(he sleeps and spend the rest of his time indoors), loves water and is very energetic and smart! He gets along with the cat and the kids. He would be better as an only dog as he does take the role of protecting the family. So he would be a great watch dog. We’re getting old and no long have the energy to spend as much time to keep him active throughout the day. And due to downsizing, we’re having to part with some of our animals. But we’d love for them to go with a young family or person who would love a companion who shares the same energy.

He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Jax is good with kids and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around cats. The owner is surrendering him because they are unable to take care of him, due to financial issues. They also have a child and her husband is having personal health issues. If you think you can provide a great home for Jax, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. Hi, my name is Bubbles and I am a pure bread miniature Australian Shepard. My owner passed away a while back and I am being fostered with my friend Beatrice by a family in Leander, TX. I am about 8 years old, weight about 25 pounds and am a very affectionate dog. I like to lie my head on your lap and get pet almost as much as I like dog treats. My foster family takes good care of me and all my shots are up to date with regular trips to see my veterinarian in Lago Vista. I do not bark very much, but I will let you know when someone is at the door or when a squirrel gets in my yard. I am crate trained and don't mind spending a few hours there while you go to work or go shopping. I can't stay at my foster home much longer so Beatrice and I are looking for a new home and we would love to become your new best friends.

Meet Roscoe! His foster mom calls him a "gentle cuddle monster. He is a big boy who still thinks he is a lap dog. He loves to snuggle and go on walks in the greenbelt. He doesn't quite understand toys but loves to play with people and dogs! Roscoe is a smart boy who knows basic commands and is motivated by treats (and cuddles). He is up for learning more! Roscoe lives with two female dogs and a grumpy cat, but they all get along. They all free-roam together when their humans are away and do great. Although Roscoe doesn't live with kids, he has been gentle with those who've visited his foster home. Roscoe isn't a fan of loud noises and can be a bit of a scaredy cat, I mean dog! But with a little reassurance, Roscoe does just fine. He has opened up a lot since being in his foster home. He has lots of love to give, he likes giving hugs and embraces affection!
