Story

Lily is a four-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd. She doesn't look like a normal Aussie, with her white and speckled fur. She loves the people she knows and is able to quickly get to know strangers. She is active and loves to run around in our big yard. She enjoys sitting on laps and likes picking a hiding place, like under a table or bed, for her quiet time. We are rehoming her because she has developed a problem with other dogs, of which we have a few. She is trying to dominate the others. Worst of all, she has started attacking her sister. At first it was a couple isolated instances, where after it happened they got along again for awhile. But it has devolved into a situation where Lily will now directly attack her sister whenever she has the opportunity. We try to keep them separate but it only takes a momentary lapse for her to get to her. So she needs to go to a home with no other dogs or cats.

Story

Uhtred is a 3 year old Australian shepherd, neutered male. He was adopted at 4.5 months old and been with us since. He is very reactive, meaning he’s very high anxiety ridden. He would be a better fit for one who’s experienced with this breed and with reactive behavioral issues. He’s always on the look out for activities to do. He doesn’t do well with human males, not sure why, he’s been this way since we’ve gotten him and he’s not been comfortable around males since. We’ve tried to, but it gets to the point where I am nervous that he may retaliate, so I’ll put him in his safe place (usually my bedroom because that’s where he sleeps at night) If you’re curious about his name, we name our pets after shows we enjoyed, and his name came from the Vikings show. Freya is an incredibly sweet and smart mixed breed young girl - testing shows mostly Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog, and German Shepherd. She was born in February of 2024. She is searching for her perfect home with a fenced yard and no chickens/birds due to prey drive. She loves kids (has been raised with a 2 & 4 yr old), loves fetch and tug of war, plays nicely with all other dogs she's been around, and is ecstatic to cuddle up with family at the end of the day. She currently lives with another dog and loves having the playmate, but she loves people so much she would likely still thrive in a loving home as an only dog.She rings a bell at the door to potty, knows basic commands, and walks well on a leash. She stays in her kennel for a few hours at a time, a few days a week, but is used to having someone home most of the time.She is truly a phenomenal dog and herr family is going to miss her to pieces. We are going to work hard to find a great family for her that will take over loving her well. Piper is an Australian Shephard of 8 months of age. She is not house broken, rather she is trained to use puppy pads, due to the physical limitation of the care taker. She hasn't had any accidents, she just uses the puppy pad. Piper was received by my grandson , and we thought things would work, but in the course of human events things have made major changes here and we need to rehome her asap. Her owner will be gone for 3 months and the grandmother is not physically capable of caring for her. Piper is young, energetic, playful, and lives up to her breed, she gets board when inside for too long, and she is an explorer. This is not easy for my grandson, or me we had different dreams when she came, but physically I am incapable of handling such an energetic breed, .
