Story
Trying to find a new home for our 1 year old Australian Shepherd. He's not fixed yet. He's had his puppy shots but none since then he's too much for us since we have a newborn, a special needs kid and a 3 year old. He's just too hyper, he keeps knocking down our 3 year old while playing, he barks at strangers until he's used to them ever since somebody's dog snapped at him. He barks at everyone and every animal since then. We don't have the time to train him. We did research about him and wasn't sure at first but the people we got him from convinced us that he'd be perfect and he hasn't been. We kept trying to train him until we found out we were pregnant and we've been trying to find a new home since. He's a really good, loving dog. He comes when called and he hasn't run off when the gate is left open. He's just gotten to hyper for the kids and we don't have the time to keep training him like we have been.

Story
Lila is just turning 5 months old. She was adopted by a family with a 5 year old boy. They were fast friends! As Lila grew, she jumped up on her boy a few times at grandmas house, and now the boy is afraid of his friend Lila. The boy hides in the closet if Lila is in the house. Mom and Lila are very sad. She is a great pup that loves kids and dogs. Curious about cats. Lila is crate trained, doing good on the house training and leash work. Knows basic commands. She's about 30 lbs now. Should be around 50 lbs full grown. She a cross of Shepherd/Malinois and Australian Shepherd. Her adoption donation is $350 which will include her upcoming spay at our Vet in Battle Ground. She will be fully vaccinated and microchipped. Please go to sccpets.com and fill out the adoption application.August 19, 2024, 6:18 am

Story
Oakley is a 11 month old male Australian Shepard dog. Oakley is such an amazing dog, he loves playing ball, toys, walks, belly rubs and snuggling. Since picking up on 06/01/2024 Oakey he has drastically changed, from being scared to learning to trust people again. He still has a lot of learning to do and I can only see him getting better from here once he finds his people. He needs to find someone that will be patient and loving towards him. Just in a day of having him he warmed up to me immediately and warmed up to my ten-year-old son too. He is good with other dogs and cats once he is comfortable in his environment, but also protective of his people. I am hoping to find someone that is wanting to take the time to work with him and train him. Oakley wasn’t socialized most of his life so is nervous around new people, but is so sweet once he gets to know you. Message me if you're interested.
