Story
Hello out there. My name is Peridot and nothing about my life has been easy. I grew up in a home that didn't provide the socialization or daily interactions I needed to feel safe and confident; as an adult dog I've had to learn things that I should have mastered as a puppy. I went straight from that environment to the shelter after the death of my owner and the hard life I thought I knew, got even harder. It has taken my months to come out of my shell and get to this point and I feel like I can go further. For the first time in my life I feel like I have potential and that I was made for so much more. I'm just going to let you know right now, this won't be easy. I'm probably not the dog you always dreamed of but that doesn't mean I'm any less deserving. I would feel most comfortable in a home without children and I think I would adjust best to a home with other dogs. I'm asking for your patience, your kindness and consideration after all that I've been through. I think we could rescue each other.

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Latte - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Latte: A milder, sweeter and creamy blend of your daily dose of caffeine! Hey there, I'm Latte - a youngish year old 67lb pup who loves to play and make new friends! People often say I'm quite the character, and I have plenty of unique traits that make me who I am. For instance, I'm a total treat connoisseur and will do anything for a snack. I'm also a friendly, playful, and smart pup, but I don't know many dog friends yet, so I'll need some help with socialization. If you're looking for an energetic and fun companion, then look no further! My ideal home would be one where I can get lots of exercise and attention, especially if we have some treats along the way. Just one thing - I tend to gravitate towards people who are just as unique and playful as I am. If you're active and love being a snack connoisseur as much as I do, I'm sure we'll become the best of pals in no time! What better way to spend the day then an adventure followed by bingeing on snacks as we cuddle on the couch!! If you're searching for a fur-iend to share in your adventurous life style, then I'm your boy!!

Hello, hello everyone! My name is Schwartz and I am in search of a home, a family... one that I can call my very own! I'm a youngster of about a year old. I am a wee tad bit shy at first so I'd do best with a patient family that will give me time to open up and blossom. I do well with people and am great with the other foster pups here although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet! I come in at around 45lbs. That's a pawsomely mediumish size from a companion to tag along on all your daily going on's to an action packed sidekick for tackling those nature trails. That's 45 lbs of a heartbeat at your feet ready to give you all this love and butt wiggles I've got stored up!! Sweet natured and playful along with my adorable lil face will have me being that fabulous family member just waiting to happen!! And it just so happens... I'm waiting for YOU!! Story
Meet Po! Po is a shy but sweet boy who is new to OCHS. He takes a bit to get to know you, but when he does he is so so loving. Po has never had experience with leashes, so they are very scary to him. He would do best with a fenced in yard or someone who has experience and willingness to work with him as he learns what to do with a leash. Due to his shyness, Po would likely do best with an all adult home or with older respectful children. He has lived with other dogs and may do well with dogs in a new home as well. He has never had experiences with cats but may do well with slow introductions.
