It’s me Ziggy! I am a spunky little dude! Foster mommy calls me Ziggy Zigs except when I am being naughty, she uses my whole name she gave me. I think it’s funny when she yells, “Ziggy Alexander!” I am bonded to my mom, Magnolia, and we need to be adopted together. I love to explore and get into everything. I love a challenge. Puzzle toys are best for me otherwise I will get bored and try to break out of our ex-pen. When it is run time, my foster parents must watch me to make sure I don’t get into anything I am not supposed to. I find it funny when my foster mommy is chilling with us to sneak up on her and tickle her side with my nose and little whiskers.
Sometimes, I like to have a hide box to rest in when I get tired. Foster parents make sure we each have our own hide boxes and litter boxes. My mom Magnolia is very neat but when I get out of my litterbox, I am not so careful. I am fully litterbox trained; it’s just I get so excited! I can’t help it! Don’t worry; I don’t make too much of a mess.
Magnolia and I have not been around cats or children so we are unsure how would do around them. The dog at our foster home does not bother us at all. I was born in the rescue so you can see by my photos how I have grown up.
Unlike most bunnies, I couldn’t care less about food. I do not like celery. I won’t touch the stuff. Thankfully our foster parents give me plenty of hay and pellets. I will eat kale, but I love romaine more. I like to take cilantro from my foster parents’ hands.
My foster mom says there is no sitting still for me. The world is so fun! I want to explore it all, and would love to meet you too!

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
