My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fendi, the delightful pocket-sized companion you've been searching for!
Fendi enjoys the great outdoors, exploring her surroundings and is friendly towards everyone she meets. Fendi is incredibly attentive to her human companions and checks in periodically to ensure she's making you happy. Although she may struggle to hold a sit due to her wiggly giggly nature, it only adds to her charm.
An all around sweetheart who eagerly accepts pets, snuggles, and treats with gentle manners. Fendi's sweet disposition wins over hearts wherever she goes.

Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Fendi at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering her.

Behavioral:

Per Day Trip 3/29: Fendi was so happy when I approached her kennel. Her tail wagged and she was easy to leash. She walked happily outside and is housetrained. Fendi is calm in the car and enjoyed the car ride. She met my teenager and her friend and she loves kids! On our hike she seemed worried when they walked away from us. She seems protective of kids. On our walk she only pulled a little toward squirrels. So friendly, any lap she saw Fendi would sit in it. Fendi loved our long walk in the woods and she loved our trip to the ice cream parlor. She seems to love food and after she ate her ice cream she hoped someone would share theirs with her. Fendi loved everyone she met today and she's really good with teenagers!

3/19/24 Per volunteer: Fendi is a delight! Not certain if she would be considered a "pocket pittie" because of her size, or because she would love to be in your pocket to get as close as possible to you. She was high energy in her kennel, eager to go out and seemingly a bit stressed. She was easily leashed and kept up for a pretty brisk walk. She was friendly towards people passing by (went out around school dismissal time) and solicited attention through the fence. She was super attuned to me and checked in periodically. She knows sit but was very wiggly and struggled to hold it. Kind of endearing if you ask me. She allowed all pets, snuggles, and took treats gently. Such a sweet disposition and certainly presents better out of her kennel than in.

3/19/24 staff noted: Very stressed in kennel- when passing by she was jumping up on the bars barking and bouncing back and forth on the walls
