My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome, Aspen!

Say hello to Aspen, the newest member of our rescue family! This gorgeous little girl lost her home after her family was evicted, ending up in an inner-city animal control facility. Despite her tough start, Aspen is the sweetest girl with the most stunning Merle coat, striking blue eyes, and unique markings—she may even be part Catahoula Leopard Dog!

Aspen is a little nervous but warms up with time. She has no food resource guarding and has tested well with other dogs. Due to her timid nature, a home with older kids would be best.

A big thank you to our volunteers Nicole and Joe for giving Aspen her freedom ride and to our partner Stephanie for ensuring she received her vet care. Aspen will be staying with our amazing board members, George and Jenn—thank you both for helping us save another life! 🩵🩵

Aspen will be available for foster-to-adopt while she waits for her vaccine booster. Ready to meet this beautiful girl? Apply today at pittiesandpals.com.

More about this rescue

Pitties and Pals Rescue, Inc. is (a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit). Our mission is to rescue dogs and educate the public. Although our main focus is the bully breed, we are committed to all dogs in need. We believe RESCUE involves a multitude of approaches that includes liberating dogs from at risk situations, whether in a shelter or with an owner in need of assistance. While adoption is always the ultimate goal, we believe transitioning into foster care allows for socialization and training that are key components to a successful placement.

Pitties and Pals volunteers are also committed to changing the negative public perception of the Bully Breed. As such, we welcome opportunities to heighten awareness and enhance education in a public forum through our personal stories and positive experiences.
