Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rerun’s story is one of strength and hope. Found tied to a tree in the snow, she’s shown incredible resilience and a gentle heart despite her tough start.
Rerun greets people with a wagging tail and loves showing off her “sit” skills (especially for treats, which she takes oh-so-gently). She’s a curious gal and enjoys exploring her surroundings.
While Rerun is still figuring out her comfort zone, she is best suited for calm, patient interactions. She’s not big on toys right now -- she’s more into connecting with her people.
Rerun is ready for a fresh start with someone who’ll show her the love and security she deserves. Could you be the one to give her the happy ending she’s been waiting for?
Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Rerun at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering her.
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Rerun was laying on her bed, and looked up with hard eyes when the handler approached. She stayed on her bed and lip licked when the handler opened the door. The handler was able to lasso her easily, and once secured she came out.
LEASH SKILLS:
Pulls minimally
HANDLING :
While in the room Rerun was friendly and social. She greeted both handlers with soft to neutral eyes and mid level wags. She allowed some all over pets right away, and then began to sniff the main handler intensely. She liked to get her sniffs in! Rerun knew “sit” and took treats gently. She got a bit stiff when asked to sit initially, but never escalated. Rerun gave the handler a hard stare and would get a little stiff when she began running around to get her to play. She showed some interest, but seemed conflicted and with too much movement. Overall, she’s quite sweet, just a little unsure.
PLAY:
Some interest but would get stiff and hard stare at times with too much movement.
TOYS:
No interest
