My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dina is a sweet gal who snorts with glee when she is playing with her friends. She has never met a stranger and you will often find her seeking attention and leaning in for pets with those happy grunts that are uniquely her own.

Dina is a social butterfly who welcomes new friends easily, showing off her friendly and playful side by hopping up to solicit attention. She also enjoys playtime, making her a great pup for someone who loves an interactive and joyful pal. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, affectionate pup to brighten your days, Dina is ready to meet you!

Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Dina at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering her.

Behavior notes:
per day trip 1/26: "Dina was such a blast today. She is such a snuggler right from the start. She was great on our walk. She is curious of her surroundings but very brave. Wanted to say hi to all the people. We even ran a little bit and she stayed super focused and forward! Hope she finds her furever home soon."

01/23/25 volunteer notes:
Dina is a very sweet girl who loves treats! She's ready to greet you at the door, but was easy to leash & walk. In the yard, she showed off her "sit" skills. Took treats gently some times but a little snatchy other times. She's got a silky coat and was happy to get lots of affection. Initially outside she was a little nervous with her tail tucked, but she explored the yard, and had no hesitations climbing on the bench to grab a treat. She's got gorgeous eyes and makes the funniest piggy snort/grumbles when she's excited.

01/23/2025 staff notes:
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Dina was up on the door of her kennel with dilated eyes and a wagging tail. She stayed on the door when the handler opened it, but allowed for easy leashing and exited without issue.

LEASH SKILLS:
Pulls minimally

HANDLING :
In the room Dina had mid level wags, neutral body, and wide dilated eyes. She would solicit from us often, but at times would stipend with too much petting. She would lean in when petting her most of the time though, continuing to wag and would give snorty grunts while being pet. She did well when a new handler entered the room as well and jumped up on him to solicit, making her grunty snort noises with him as well.
