Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mittens is a beautiful 3-year old female Tuxedo kitty who was found on Sandhill Road in the Marietta Ohio area. Mittens was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.
This little sweetheart was a bit 'under the weather' and was examined by one of our compassionate local veterinarians before she was brought to the safety of our shelter. Mittens was combo tested (with negative test results) and confirmed that she had not been spayed (and that she was not pregnant). She weighed 10 lbs when she arrived at HSOV on December 19, 2024.
Mittens has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, white toes on her front paws, white socks on her hind paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with large golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and extra-long white eyebrows and whiskers.
Mittens was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on December 22, 2024. She was given booster vaccines on January 5, 2025.
This little dollbaby has a sweet, affectionate personality and adores attention. Mittens was quick to roll over to politely beg for 'belly rubs' when these photos were taken on January 9, 2025 .. And who could resist those big beautiful eyes??
Since Mittens was not reclaimed, we will have her spayed in the near future and find her a fabulous indoor home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
