My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ndy, a big love bug, finds herself in need of a new home after losing hers to a house fire. Her perfect day involves cuddling up in bed, basking in love and affection. She may be one of the laziest dogs around, but watch out when playtime hits - her energy is contagious. With her cute ears perked up high, Indy greets everyone with open arms, embodying a welcoming and friendly nature. This medium-sized pup with a charming crooked tail is on the lookout for a forever home. While she would love to be adopted with her sister, Indy is more than happy to find a loving home of her own. Could you be the one to offer Indy the companionship and care she craves?

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
