My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Percy! Percy is a sweet younger guy who is currently with us for short term foster. Here are some things we know about him so far!
He's good (and relaxed) in a car, is getting good with steps, hates celery but likes carrots.
He likes walks but doesn't love the cold (who does), he is very good with our resident dog who is an older grumpy guy sometimes. Percy will initiate play but when Benny takes a pass on that, Percy will just trot after him and they'll nap together.
He loves to play fetch and is good at it (but only with a tennis ball). We've tried throwing other things but he just stares at us like we are stupid. He also likes stuffies, raw hides, and to cuddle up on a blanket.
He will put himself in a crate and is fine to hang out there but when the door closes, he gets a little upset. He also gets very nervous when you go to pet him from overhead. He doesn't react with anything more than cowering (which breaks my heart) so we have learned just to pet him under his chin and he loves that. He does have scars on his face and healing wounds on his front legs -- who knows what happened there but he is fine with all over handling and loves it.
His tail is like a propeller, and that is adorable.
He is 90% housetrained and the other 10% is foster error...our Benny has a bladder of steel ; Percy is only 8 months old so his few accidents in the house are on me and not getting him out enough. He is also smart enough now to know which door we use to take him out so he'll hang out by that door when he has to go to the bathroom.
He's ok with household noises -- dishwashers, washer / dryers, vacuums, etc.
He does get a bit spooked when larger vehicles pass us on a walk but a little verbal encouragement snaps him out of it.
We don't have cats so unsure of interaction. Is great with women, men, teenagers...and Amazon Prime drivers.
He was ok in his bath - he didn't love it but he didn't try to jump out; he likes to keep an eye on you but is getting more independent each day he is with us; and he doesn't beg at the table. He will sit there and stare at you with his sweet gray eyes but he won't make a sound.
He knows sit and he now knows his name. He likes to play but he also knows when he needs to chill out. And he is unbelievably patient.
He will tolerate wearing a sweatshirt, but he doesn't like his winter jack that secures underneath him. He walks like a Halloween cat when he has that on. And he's very tolerable when you are bored and put your readers on him and take pictures.
He is a very very sweet little guy.
