Say hello to Henry, a 9-month-old shepherd mix with a heart as big as his wagging tail! This small but mighty bundle of love was recently rescued in San Antonio and is now waiting for his forever home.

Henry is part of a fantastic foursome that was recently saved. He shared his kennel with his equally adorable pals Harvey, Hank, and Harriet. He’s already shown off his sociable side, greeting new friends with a wagging tail and a loose, happy body. This young pup is eager to learn, already showing promise with commands like “sit” and ready to soak up all the basic training you can give.

Whether it’s treats, affection, or just hanging out, Henry is all in. He’s the perfect mix of youthful energy and sweet cuddles, ready to bring endless love into your life.

***HENRY IS CURRENTLY IN SAN ANTONIO, TX, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.).

Our adoption fee is $400 plus health certificate ($50), transport ($200 for most locations) and spay/neuter deposit ($100). Your spay/neuter deposit will be returned when proof of spay/neuter is provided. This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), fecal analysis, spay, and a heartworm test. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.

After an applicant has been screened, we conduct a home visit, vet reference check and personal reference checks. If the applicant is approved, we schedule a meet and greet.
