My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alice is a sweet, friendly little lady who will come to you when she’s called! She loves pets and cuddles, as well as chatting with her foster mom (especially when she’s hungry). This curious girl loves to check out her surroundings – hopping into open drawers and exploring nooks and crannies. She enjoys playing with toys, cats and her people! When it’s time to recharge her batteries, Alice prefers to curl up for a snooze in an elevated sleeping spot – she loves a snooze with a view! Alice is a foodie – she loves her meals and is open to anything – wet or dry suits her just fine. Don’t forget the treats, please! When her foster mom eats, Alice beelines right over to check out what’s on the menu! She may even try to sneak a taste, but she’s a good girl and will leave when gently nudged. She has excellent litter box habits and loves to keep her nails looking their best through the diligent use of her scratching posts and pads. Alice loves following her foster mom around the house like a puppy, accompanying her to ALL the rooms. Though she may be shy around new people, she warms up to be a lovely, friendly little companion. Alice enjoys laps when she’s in the mood, and absolutely loves her pets and scratches. She gets along well with the resident cat in her foster home and would love a young cat friend to play with, although she can go alone. With a little patience, she would probably be okay with dogs (she lives with a dog in her foster home, who she approaches with curiosity for sniffs).

Alice came to us a stray with her kittens from Animal Services. She was a great mom to her babies, but now it’s time for her to find her forever home at last.

If you are looking for a friendly girl to keep you company while you go about your business all day long, then you must meet Alice!

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
