My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal companion to keep you company on these cold winter nights, Queenie might be the girl for you. Queenie is two years old. Look how stunning she is! Have you ever seen such shiny, glossy fur and emerald green eyes like hers? Queenie may be shy and quiet, but she is really starting to enjoy the pets and affection offered to her by the volunteers who care for her every day. She is a very sweet girl who loves to curl up in her favourite circular cat scratcher and watch the world around her. A big sunny window for her to lounge in would also be fantastic! Playing is new for Queenie, but she’s starting to show her playful side with wand and catnip toys. Queenie is a food aficionado and enjoys any food flavour, with a side of treats, please! Queenie is not a fan of other cats or kids. Her ideal home will be one with an experienced cat person who will allow her time to get accustomed to her new surroundings and understand that it may take some time for her to come out of her shell.

Queenie came to us as a pregnant stray. She was a great mom to her kittens but is now ready to find her own forever home at last.

Queenie is really starting to show her sweet and loving nature. She will make a wonderful companion in the perfect home that provides her with time, space, and affection to get comfortable before showing her amazing personality. Her favourite bed might just come along with her, too!

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
