My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It’s clearly obvious where Soleil gets her name from! This two-year-old girl is like a ray of sunshine! She’s bright, warm and incredibly outgoing. Her name totally suits her personality. Soleil is very lovely and outgoing. She craves attention! A total lap cat, she purrs the instant you pick her up. Pets and cuddles are the best thing ever and she will seek you out for some. Soleil is a playful girl, whether playing with the resident cats or you! One of her favourite games is playing tag on the stairs as you walk down, where she’ll playfully tap you as you go by! You’re it! Peek-a-boo is also another favourite game Soleil will happily play with you. Keep your eyes on your food – Soleil is a food thief known to steal a napkin or two as she retreats to her hiding spot to stash them. Cold? Soleil will keep you warm as she snuggles next to you in bed. Soleil is very social and isn’t afraid of strangers or animals. Soleil is good with the small dogs and cats in her home. She MUST have another friendly cat buddy in her new home.

Soleil arrived in our care as a stray with her kittens in tow. Soleil was a great mom, but now it’s her time to shine in her new forever home at last.

Warmer days are certainly ahead of us, but for now, Soleil will bring light, warmth and sunshine to the perfect home! If you are looking for a friendly, outgoing and playful girl, Soleil will be excited to meet you!

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
