My name is Raspberry Lemonade!

Roo (aka Raspberry Lemonade) is a cuddly, friendly and smart puppy! She traveled from Georgia in mid-January and has been with her foster family in Manhattan ever since. Roo is a puppy and has spurts of puppy energy but is incredibly snuggly in-between these bursts. She's an incredibly friendly dog. She wants to say 'hi' to everyone she passes on walks (including other pups!) and it's not uncommon for her tail to wag for the entire length of a walk. Roo has also been great on leash so far - despite never using one in the past. 

Roo's working on crate training (and it's going really well!). She gets into her crate without much fuss at night (and throughout the day for naps) and has been largely sleeping through the night. She's also learning potty training and is already going outside most of the time! 

Roo is a very smart puppy. She learned 'sit' in one day and began recognizing her foster parents' apartment building after her first walk (she navigated herself home when she was tired of the cold!). We think Roo has the ability to learn lots of tricks and commands and she seems to enjoy learning. 

Roo's Favorite Things: playing catch with small tennis balls, gnawing on frozen socks, saying hello to toddlers and other pups on walks and snuggling on the couch after dinner. 

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
