This helps Waldo's Rescue Pen with pet care costs.
Winterberry, or Wendy as we lovingly call her, is the belle of the ball everywhere she goes. She is an energetic, highly trainable, very sharp, intuitive and playful 2 month old puppy. She has a 80% success rate with wee wee pad training, well on her way to learning how to behave in an NYC apartment/home, is a subway pro and loves to explore the city from her pup stroller. She is very familiar with the smells and sounds of the city and is rarely spooked because she knows her humans are always looking out. Her playful curiosity is easy to manage as she understands "No" and "Drop it" fairly well.
Winterberry is a born leader and eager to show love to her humans every chance she gets - close proximity is her favorite thing in the world. She sleeps through the night mostly with a few whimpers some nights after those 4am potty breaks but settles back into her sleep after a long warm hug. We are working on self soothing in her play pen during the day while her foster humans shower, cook and do laundry.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
