My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lyla!
Sweet and silly shepherd mix puppy Lyla recently arrived to HAP from one of our partner shelters and has already started to show how wonderful of a pup she really is! Lyla is always super excited to meet new people and has full body wiggles to show her excitement. While she still is working on that puppy excitement and her puppy manners, she's already getting pretty good at sitting and walking on the leash! She's very food motivated and she doesn't have a favorite treat because she loves them all! Lyla also loves any and all toys - squeaky, fuzzy, bouncy, noisy, big, small, she loves them all and will run around going from one to the other and toss them up in excitement! One thing we really love about Lyla is she has the softest fur ever!! Lyla has met a few dog friends and would love a chance to continue working on her socialization skills with as many pups as she can - she can't say no to play time! So if you're looking for an adventurous, outgoing, fun, super soft, playful, and loving pup - Lyla's your girl!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
