My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Puma – The Handsome Tabby with Striking Eyes and a Heart of Gold!

Puma is a mature, sweet-natured tabby with gorgeous, striking eyes and a loving personality. Though he can be shy at first, it’s only because he takes time to adjust to new situations—who doesn’t? Once he feels safe and comfortable, he transforms into a complete cuddle bug who adores attention and spending time with his people.

Puma gets along well with other cats after proper introductions and would do best in a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace. He was lovingly surrendered by his previous family due to allergies, and he’s now looking for a forever home where he can thrive.

If you’re searching for a handsome, affectionate companion who will reward your patience with endless love and snuggles, Puma might just be the perfect match for you!

Adopt Puma and let him fill your home with warmth, purrs, and companionship.

Puma is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
