My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet OG – the street-smart sweetheart turned professional lounger!

OG is a former outdoor cat who decided it was time to trade the street life for the sweet life. This handsome gentleman is now all about love and companionship—and he’s learning every day how amazing it can be to have a home of his own!

OG is still figuring out the whole lap-cat thing, but he’s making great progress and enjoys being close to his humans. While cat toys might still confuse him a bit, give him a rock or twig, and he’ll entertain himself—and you—with his adorable antics.

He adores being brushed and would happily let you brush him forever. Ear scritches and pets make him melt, and his gratitude often comes with a little drool—proof of how much he appreciates the love. With his mellow, affectionate nature, OG is the ultimate master of lounge and chill vibes.

Curious and friendly, OG enjoys observing other cats and their antics. He’s not aggressive and would do well with another laid-back feline companion, though he’d also be perfectly content as an only cat, as long as he gets plenty of time and attention from his humans. When it’s time to relax, OG loves curling up in a cozy, covered bed to snooze the day away.

If you’re looking for a calm, sweet companion who will fill your home with warmth, gratitude, and a touch of humor, OG is ready to meet you. Adopt this lovable guy and help him complete his journey from street-smart survivor to beloved family member!

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
