My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bing Bong! This pint-sized party animal found his way to us because he wasn’t vibing with the other dogs in his previous home. Let’s be real—not everyone wants to live with the life of the party 24/7! Bing Bong has A LOT of energy and a big personality to match—he’s dog selective and doesn’t always click with every pup he meets. He can handle small playgroups or walks with another dog, but he’s a bit of a diva when the spotlight isn’t on him. With that adorable mug, though, can you really blame him for thinking the world revolves around him?

Ideally, Bing Bong would thrive as the star of the show in a home where he’s the only dog. A foster-to-adopt situation could also be a great way to see if he’s compatible with another pet before making things official.

Now, let’s talk about his FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)—it’s real. Bing Bong has a touch of separation anxiety and does not appreciate being left out of the action. He needs a home where his person won’t be gone for long stretches and can give him the love and attention he craves. Bonus points if you’re ready to help him channel his quirks through training—he’s got so much potential to be the best version of himself with a little guidance!

This playful, sweet, and snuggly dude will melt your heart after a good romp around. Bing Bong loves being carried like the royalty he is and curling up for cuddles once he’s burned off all that energy. If you’re ready to add some Bing Bong-sized joy to your life, he’s ready to meet you! Please inquire today!

More about this rescue

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
