Meet Bader, the life of the party! This sweet boy found himself at our rescue after a divorce left no one able to care for him. While his life has had a few plot twists lately, Bader is ready to settle into a new chapter with plenty of love, structure, and adventure.
Bader is the ultimate family or active owner’s dream. He’s got energy for days, loves to play, and does great with kids. Whether it’s fetch, a brisk walk, or showing off his tricks (he’s very smart and eager to learn more!), Bader is up for it all—especially if there’s a snack involved. Just keep the chicken out of the mix; he’s allergic, but don’t worry, he’s healthy and otherwise an A+ foodie!
When playtime’s over, Bader’s sweet side shines. His fur is impossibly soft, and he’s a certified cuddle expert—whether it’s with his humans or a naptime cuddle pile with his dog pals. Oh, and did we mention he even gets along with cats? Yep, he’s pretty much the total package!

Home Check
We will come out to make sure your home is safe for a Pug; if you live out of area we can do the home check via Skype or FaceTime.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
You can make an appointment to come pick out a Pug or you can also do that at one of our events (see our event page on website).
Additional adoption info
We require an application either online through our website or in person at our facility or one of our events. Once we receive the application we will schedule a home visit. After approval, you are eligible to adopt any available dog. Our fees range from $75 - $550 depending upon age. $550 would be for a pure pug puppy (which we rarely get), $75 would be for our senior for senior program. Full price list available on our website.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities.
