Meet Raven, an adorable young puppy with a heart full of love and energy to match! This wiggly little girl is as sweet as they come, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and squinty-eyed smiles. She’s social, affectionate, and ready to soak up all the love and attention she can get.
Like any puppy, Raven is full of excitement and will need consistent training to help her grow into a well-mannered pup. She allows all handling, enjoys meeting new people, and is eager to learn—though she can be a little snatchy with treats as she is still learning her manners.

Raven was curled up on her bed and began to thump her tail and squint her eyes when she saw me. She was easy to leash and allowed me to carry her to the eval room. In the room she was very wiggly and social with all handlers in the room. She allowed all handling and was very excitable and had typical puppy energy. She was a bit snatchy with treats too but was more gentle than her brother.

The Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) is the region’s largest animal care and control service provider. ACCT Philly is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit organization, contracted by the City of Philadelphia to provide animal control services. Our animal control officers provide service over 142.6 square miles to the city’s more than 1.5 million residents and ACCT Philly’s facility in North Philadelphia handles more than 17,000 of the city’s animals, from dogs and cats, to small animals, reptiles, birds and wildlife, annually.
In addition to animal control and sheltering, ACCT Philly is open 365 days a year for pet adoptions. ACCT Philly also supports a foster care program where community members provide temporary homes for sheltered animals and one of the (if not THE) most extensive rescue partnership program in the country where approved rescue partners accept ACCT Philly animals into their adoption programs. Under contract ACCT Philly’s Animal Control Officers provide animal control services and code enforcement.
