If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hello to my future family! My name is Muffin and I am so excited to meet you! I came all the way from California for the good life, and so far I love MN. I am currently around 30+ lbs, but foster mom is trying to fatten me up a bit. She calls me a pocket  low rider with the most beautiful brindle coat. The perfect size! What you will most love about me is my happy and playful spirit. Foster mom has told me so many times that I am a really special young lady, and that any family would be lucky to have me. In fact, if she didn’t already have three resident dogs, she said I would have been able to stay! I am a fun and frisky young lady, and so far I seem to love my humans and other dogs. It takes me about 30 seconds to warm up to the humans, and I come in slowly when meeting other dogs but warm up after a day or so…just a little shy. I currently live with three resident dogs, a 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix, a 6 year old Pittie mix, and a 11 year old Lab mix. I am learning so much from them now that I am the only foster in the house. I know foster mom appreciates that I don’t come in “hot,” but take my time to really get to know them before the playtime begins. I love playing with the resident dogs and cuddling for naptime with the Pittie mix. We are working on some training, but I have been learning a lot from the resident dogs. I am potty trained and I am also comfortable in a kennel, and sometimes just go rest in there. We have already worked a lot on impulse control and have already shown progress in waiting patiently for food/treats and decreasing the jumping behaviors. I have a pretty good sit’s and am working on a few other things, but as a foster with lots of recent changes, we are taking it slow. It helps that my foster mom is a professional dog trainer and is super patient with my learning process. When in doubt, a quick “uh uh” will stop me and get my attention. Finally, I am very treat motivated so am super easy to train! I absolutely love toys…doesn’t matter what type as my preference changes day by day. I really love nylabones and things like that and playing tug is super fun! If I had my perfect world, it would consist of all the belly rubs, all the toys, and a human to cuddle with.  I love people! I will give you a big smile and a wiggle butt and be your best friend after a few treats as a hello but just give me a few minutes to warm up to you. I am a little shy at first, but I warmed up to my new foster mom in about 30 seconds! I really want to please my human(s) and am trying really hard to make the best decisions! So make sure to reward me when I make good decisions. More than anything, I am working on building my confidence, which means foster mom gives me so many news things and new sounds and then lets me know how awesome I am. I am a medium energy dog, so I really like to play and have fun activities and then crash and cuddle for 75% of the day. Are you the family for me? I always have a happy face for my human and just love to be near you! Foster mom says that she can tell that I just want to please the humans…get the cuddles…and eat all the treats! I would do great with any family as either the only dog or with a playful and confident older dog. Fill out an app to meet me…you won’t be disappointed! This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hi friends! My name is Peaches!  I am 2-3 years old and only around 30lb. I’m just a little gal and I’m full grown! See my legs? I’m barely taller than a chihuahua! Ever heard the saying “good things come in small packages”?  That’s me!! I came to rescue on an airplane from Los Angeles CA, with my sister Muffin. The shelters were full and needing to help dogs displaced by fires, so The Rescue Crew offered to help us become Minnesotans! We are in different foster homes now and ready to find our forever homes! Muffin is a foxy Brindle and I’m the beautiful blonde sister ;)   We both have super short low rider legs!  We are a mystery mix. .  I’m super people loving and cuddly. I hope you like to spoon because if you plan to lay down, I will waste no time joining you in close proximity! I may even put my short little arm around you if you will let me!!  ALSO, you need to know that belly rubs are my favorite past time. I will flop right over and sprawl on my back so you can scratch my little belly until your hand gets tired! And then once it’s rested, I hope we can do that all over again! There’s no such thing as too many belly rubs for this girly! I’m in a foster home with other dogs and kids and I’m great with all. In the mornings I like to run around and play with the 4 year old boy here. He gives me stuffies and I love carrying them around. I’ve also spent time around cats and I am wonderful with those too! I’m house trained and crate trained as well. I love food and treats and would be easy to train tricks with. I already know how to sit! I’m a smart girl and I want to please my people! I’m looking for a home that can help me get out and about to build confidence since I have not had a ton of exposure to the big world, and I know there’s more to explore with you by my side!  I would also benefit from a dog buddy, but it’s not a requirement as long as my humans will get me out to socialize and see new things to learn that I don’t have to be shy with new experiences. I will be super brave in no time! If you’re looking for a bestie low rider girl, I am the perfect match!! I hope we can meet up soon and discuss your hobbies, interests, and your desires to cuddle  XOXO, Peaches Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. Adoption Fee: $660, plus tax Location: Foster Home Have you ever wanted a low rider shadow? Well, meet Millie! Millie is the sweetest Basset Hound/ Lab Mix you will ever meet! After being on the street in Alabama for almost her entire life, she's getting use to the whole "being indoors living the life of luxury" thing, but gosh darn it, Millie deserves it! Millie is full of life and ready for new experiences. Her newest experience was getting the zoomies in the snow, and truly understanding how COMFY a bed with her favorite human is! She is also attached at the hip to her foster brother who is showing her how to truly be a dog. If you are interested in meeting Millie and making her a part of your family, please fill out an adoption application on the Carver Scott website today!

Story
Peanut was unfortunately abandoned and basically either left tied around a bush or put in a kennel for the first 6 months of his life. I rescued him when animal control was called and I’ve had him since about August 2024. I believe he was born in December, 2023. He was neutered a few weeks ago. He is a good dog but does have some behavioral issues. He is very stubborn and doesn’t want to listen. He’s just too much for me to handle with my current living situation and inability to get him exercise as he needs. He is high energy at times yet also very snuggly and relaxed. He is struggling to learn he can’t jump on others when he’s excited. He’s a typical Bully Bassett. Needs a loving home with someone who can spend more time with him. I think having other pets could also be beneficial to get his energy out and occupy his time so he doesn’t get so sad when his owner leaves.

These pups are in St Louis Park, Minnesota too!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  I know you want to meet me. I will be at Chuck & Don's, Eden Prairie, 8022 Den Rd, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 for an Adoption Event on Saturday, March 15th from 11:00-1:00 pm. Please email inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com for questions regarding the dogs.       Hey there, I’m Pako! If you're looking for a playful, snuggly, and downright adorable puppy to add some fun to your life, you’ve found your guy. I’m a 12-lb bundle of joy and wrinkles – yep, I’m a Puggle, and I know how to steal hearts with just one look. I’m still learning the ropes (I’m under 6 months old, after all), but I promise I’m doing my best to be a good boy! I’m super social and love playing with people, my two doggy friends, and even your kiddos! I’m still figuring out the potty thing (accidents happen, right?), but I’m getting better every day. I’m food-driven and will do anything for a treat – seriously, I haven’t met one I didn’t like. And when I’m all pooped out from playing hard, I’m ready to snuggle up in your lap and snooze away like an old man, complete with some cute little snores. When I’m not chewing on bones or playing with my doggy pals, I love my daily walks and am making great progress on leash training. I’m still a work in progress, but I’ll be walking like a pro in no time! I’m crate-trained and sleep like a champ, but I do get a little sad when you leave – who can blame me? I just want to be with you! I’m great with other dogs of all sizes, and while I don’t necessarily need another dog to be happy, I’d definitely love to have a furry friend to play with. Oh, and did I mention I’m a total showstopper? Everyone who meets me falls in love with my sweet personality and those adorable wrinkles! If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and slightly snuggly Puggle to add to your family, I’m your guy. I’m ready to shower you with love, playtime, and, of course, lots of naps. Let’s make some memories together!  **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! P lease note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   This puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion. Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
