Story
This girl ended in the shelter due to her owner being arrested and not being able to find her a home. Gracie is a great dog who has fit into her foster home quite well. She is learning about cats and being on a leash. She is housebroken with a dog door but was also house trained without one. She is a bit of energy so will need an active family to keep up! She is friendly and has gotten a long with other dogs of various sizes really well. She loves to play and is pure fun! She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Sweet baby Teddy came to us in just the most pitiful condition. It's really nothing short of a miracle that he survived the hard start he had in life. He was severely malnourished, dehydrated and suffering a severe leg injury that resulted in amputation. Being a baby tri paw hasn't slowed down this fellow or diminished his love of life one tiny bit. This little boy has so much love to give and so much joy to share with his new family. He loves other pups and loves ALL the nice humans that he meets. He'll be a fun addition to any loving home. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Hi I am Shiloh a fluffy bundle of joy!I am a working breed, highly intelligent and a high energy guy. I play hard and love to run and herd anything that moves. I would do well on a farm with a job to do or with someone who has a place for me to run off my energy. I show great promise to be a great working dog. I am just recently learning to play with other adult dogs as I have been an only dog in my household until surrendered. My favorite pastimes are eating, running, sleeping and chewing the laces out of my all of my foster mom’s shoes!Because of my built in herding instincts and the fact that I am still a puppy, I like to nip and my puppy teeth are sharp. I would not be a good fit for a house with small children as I don’t know any boundaries yet. Although, I could learn, I am not there yet. My foster mom is working with me on manners, and I’m learning as fast as I can. My foster mom has started on house training with puppy pads and says I am doing an amazing job.Disclaimer: I am located in Texas. I can be transported once adopted. Transport fee is $250.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41
