Story
Ariel is a five month old mixed breed super mutt. She could be lab or beagle or Australian Shepherd or border collie or a whole bunch of the above. She’s currently about 35 pounds and will be that nice medium to large size as an adult. Ariel is super friendly and loves to play with her dog friends. She has never lived with kids or cats, but could certainly be introduced to either in a new home. Ariel is not yet fully house or crate trained, her new family will need to work with her on this training. Ariel is currently fostered North branch Minnesota. Part of the adoption process is coming to the dogs location to meet. Paws First Rescue does not ship or fly dogs. ** emails are responded to within 24 hours. If you email and did not receive a response, check your junk or spam folder and then email again.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Abbott and his sister, Ackerly, found themselves unwanted and on death row in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  They love other dogs.  Cats and young children are unknown. They are good with all people. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Abbott: he is a super sweet boy that loves being outside, and loves a good walk. He’s curious yet cautious. He does well with basic commands such as sit, lay, come and leave it. Potty trained and does well on a routine. He loves playing with plushies and getting belly rubs! Settling in and growing more and more everyday. Doesn’t live with children but has been around kids. Just waiting for a fun loving family to be their forever home. First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vet visit.  Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 1:32 am

Story
Scooby-Doo's original owner wasnt able to keep him after they moved into a new home. We known Scooby his whole life. My wife and I decided that we would take him in while we sort out where to home him. Shortly thereafter, we really fell in love with his sweet kind soul. We already had a dog when we took scooby in and in the past few weeks we found out we are pregnant. We decided that 2 dogs and 2 kids would be too much for our household to accommodate. Scooby really does deserve a good a home with an owner who will be gentle with him. He has some anxiety when it comes to loud noises. At 10 years old, he is a sweet and very loyal dog who is looking for a companion; someone to spend time with.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $550 plus taxHi my name is Hoggle…. I am a happy puppy, I really like to chew on bully stick and have peanut butter kongs.  I love to be with my people, and run and play in the yard.  I am big puppy, but please remember that I am only a baby, just about 4 months old and I should not be left alone for more than 4-5 hours to help my socialization and potty training…Speaking of potty training… this is a work in progress,  I do try to use a potty pad if one is available but sometimes I miss.  I am still learning  how to ask my people to go outside to use the facilities. Are you ready to have a big floppy puppy to cuddle with?  Apply today!!!! I would love to come home with you! * Puppies under 5 months should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization.   If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

She recently came to MARS and is totally and completely not sure what’s going on in her world right now. She’s shaken, and actually ran away from her foster home on Saturday night. Thankfully, she is safe and heading to boarding, however she needs a new place to go. She needs a home who will sit with her, hand feed her kibble, and help her learn that life isn’t scary. A place that’s not overwhelming and will let her come out of her shell at her own pace.
