Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size. He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence. Well first let’s just say that Pepper is NOT a fru-fru girl that needs to be “pretty in pink”. This girl is a Boston Terrier/Pit mix puppy who was in a very tough and isolated shelter in West Tennessee and she was the one in a million girl that made it OUT! She is a lover girl but boy can she keep up with the older and bigger boy dogs in the foster home. She is a great player all day long and she is tough like a “tomboy”. She is learning the leash, crate trained and she is working on the housebreaking. She will forever be your girl that tries the hardest to do everything right. She is weighing in at 27 pounds and 7 months old and will one day be a 35 pound adult beauty. We love these Pepper ears and her strong personal determination to hang with the BIG BOYS! She is the survivor that we saw at the top of the steps in the movie “Rocky”. She has beat some unbelievable odds Some true hurdles that only Pepper and Critter Cavalry Rescue knows about. Hi there, I’m a pretty little female Boston Terrier/Shih Tzu mix named Tumble. I am about 3 years old, 16 lbs, and I was living in Lytle, Texas, when my owner became sick and he surrendered me to the local Animal Shelter. Thankfully, a very nice lady who fosters dogs for 4 Little Paws heard about me, so now I’m staying with her while getting ready to find a new life in the Northeast. I am a very nice girl with a medium energy level and a friendly attitude. I get along great with people, dogs, and cats, and I enjoy some playtime and being active. I’m affectionate and sweet but not the type to slobber all over you. I love belly rubs and butt scratches, and would enjoy participating in family activities and having some fun! I’m well-behaved, already housebroken, love going for walks and taking rides in the car, don't mind a crate, and my foster mom says I am easygoing and calm with a great temperament. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started! Gigi is up to date on core vaccinations, spayed and is microchipped. Gigi is good with people, cats and other dogs. We rescued Gigi from a hoarding/breeding situation where she was completely neglected. GiGi was missing most of her hair due to a bad skin infection but now she is all healed up and more beautiful than ever! Gigi is friendly, happy and as sweet as sugar. These teeny tots come from our Kentucky rescue parnter after being left at a shelter when their owner bred the parents and then had no placement for the last 3 puppies (photo of parents above). Happily they are healthy and adorable (of course) and having a blast in foster. They are learning to be crate and house trained and to have good manners. This breed mix is SUPER fun and great family dogs that are good for most applicants - can live in apartments too. But remember in a suburban or rural setting they cannot be left alone outdoors alone without supervision due to predators easily able to grab and run (aerial and on foot). Make sure to research all the fun (and training) they will need to be the perfect BFF! Love dogs cats kids! Video and more pics upon request! These cuties are ready soon so make sure to apply now before others jump ahead. They will likely grow to be small dogs as they are only 2-3lbs (kitten sized omg!) at theis age - prob 20-30lb max in future possibly tinier. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... We are guesstimating that Dad is a chi or chi mix from photos we saw but we do know mom was def pure Boston. Also expect to hire a pro trainer - as all puppies of this age and breed need proper pro training to be perfect companions. They have had their first vaccines so adopters will have to complete final rounds and have been microchipped dewormed and had all preventatives per age - adopters will need to do our spay/neuter contract as they are too small to be fixed at this time - they are currently UNDER 3lbs each - and contact us when ready to be fixed (around 7m of age unless vet says to wait per breed or medical advisement). Minimum donation required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions.
