Louie is a handsome big boy that came to use from a local shelter partner. We do not know much about his past but so far he has been nothing but sweet with a loud bark! Louie is a cane corso mix that comes in at 105 pounds. He is also a senior so his future family should be prepared being he is a giant breed that vet costs could be a bit higher. We are requiring his future family to have experience with giant breed dogs so that he is successful in his future home. Louie would do best with children 6+ and will need to meet any residents dogs in his future home. If you would like to meet Louie or have more questions please speak with the kennel staff and they will be happy to help.

Story
Unfortunately due to increased travel for work and behavioral issues my dog is having with my tenant , I have been put in the difficult position to rehome him . He is a Pitt and cane corso mix , and 3 years old . Due to his age and breed it has been difficult being able to rehome him even free of price . He is not neutered and has only ever lived with me . He has had few interactions with other dogs, but not enough for me to confirm he is friendly with all . I do not want to send him to a shelter and possibly risk him not finding a home and being euthanized . He takes a bit to warm up to , but I have never known him to be anything other than a friendly loving dog . His recent behavior has caused fear in immediate family members due to small children . The recent decision to re-home is because prior to my change in occupation, I worked full time telework. I had the time to reinforce training and provide my undivided attention , and I unfortunately do not have that flexibility anymore.

Two to Three year old female Dogo Argentino needs a new home in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia area). We fostered her as a favor for a friend who had serious medical problems. He and his family will no longer be able to take care of her. She is deaf but does well walking and training, gets along with others dogs, does well inside and outside, and loves people. Unknown how she interacts with cats. We can send more pictures and video as requested. Please contact for a meet and greet.
