Story
Hi, I'm UConn. I'm a 5-year-old Mastiff mix whos often described as a big teddy bear! First off, let's address the elephant in the room. Me! I am one big puppy! But that just means there's more of me to love. And boy am I a lover! I'm up for all the cuddles you can give. I'm so gentle and laid back that my size is only a positive. I've even lived in a studio before, and even though I'd need more space in my forever home, I did amazing! Actually, I'm pretty amazing wherever I'm living! Here are some things that I am great at: 1. Helping to re-pot plants after I knock them over with my tail 2. Helping to get the router set back up after knocking it out of the wall with my tail3. Helping to refill the water bowls after I knock them over with my---Hang on, my tail's lawyer says I need to stop the self-incrimination...Let's move on! I love life in general, but some of my favorite things include puzzle toys! I stay super focused and don't get frustrated when I'm working to get my meals out of these. I think it's fun to use my brain! I also love walks and sniffing around. I am strong, but if you set the tone, I am really good on leash. I like walking right next to my person most of the time, and I even remember to sit and look both ways before crossing the street. I am interested in other dogs and little animals (squirrels, etc.), but if you remind me not to pull, I'm a great listener. Speaking of listening, I love music! When my foster plays the piano, I lay down underneath and wag my tail the entire time. I also love when we have dance parties! Anytime I get to spend time with my humans is a good time for me. I'm friendly with absolutely everyone, so I'm no guard dog, but you can count on me to be the household greeter. Babies, kids, teenagers, grown-ups, everybody is my friend! I'm very gentle when I say hello, and I never run up to people or jump on them. I'm pretty relaxed all of the time, actually, though if you get me excited about a toy, I'll definitely play. While my foster is working, I play with my quietest toys in my bed, but I really like squeakers, fetch and tug too! Now, for a quick brag sesh: My foster says I am 'literal perfection' in my crate. I think that just means that I go in when she asks, am really quiet all through the night, don't have any accidents, and don't get upset when she leaves. Why would I? I know she's coming back, and I'm obsessed with the bully sticks that I get when it's crate time. My foster also says I'm a super smart, food-motivated puppy. That means I pick up on things really quickly, and am easy to train. I already know basic commands like "sit" and "paw", and of course I am 100% potty trained. So, all that to say, if you're looking for 110 pounds of love, joy, and kisses, then you need to meet UConn! I can't wait to join my new family, so reach out today to learn about adopting me! Story
Bailey is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: He's a meathead! He's a beautiful guy with a disproportionate big head, big paws, and a beautiful slender frame. He just wants to play with everything and everyone! He's super adaptable and while he has a big head, there isn't much going on in there so he is easy to please with food and a toy. He's very good at playing soccer too! He's great at offense and working on his defense of the ball. He is super duper trainable and very food motivated. He knows paw, sit, lay, heel so far! The guys always comment on being jealous of his "stacked muscles" and the ladies always comment on his adorable face. He's super calm in big crowds with people and thrives around people. He has been complimented for being calm in a beer garden and just wants all the pets and attention and praises! -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Polo is a 7 yo pure breed Cane Corso. Is he super affectionate and believes he is a lap dog. He is a super good guard dog and loves females. He is house broken and knows commands like sit, down, paw, upstairs, downstairs, water, drink, eat, backup, gentle, and can halfway rollover if you ask him. Once you pet him you pretty much must continue to pet him. Did I mention he is very affectionate. It really breaks my heart to have to surrender him. His original owner abandoned him, so he has some separation anxiety. He is really good with females and takes his time to warm up to males (trauma). He is a goofy and again, did I mention that he is super affectionate. Loves cuddles and to be touch. He doesn’t know what personal space it. But who doesn’t want this lovable guy on the.

Fun cute loveable dog. Needs someone who have time for her. Loves to be up under you. Shared a home with a cat that she played with. Do not react to other dogs. She is 3 months old born May 1 2024. Do not really have a set name yet. But we called her stinkah binkah to get her all excited. She loves attention and very playful.
