Story
Polo is a 7 yo pure breed Cane Corso. Is he super affectionate and believes he is a lap dog. He is a super good guard dog and loves females. He is house broken and knows commands like sit, down, paw, upstairs, downstairs, water, drink, eat, backup, gentle, and can halfway rollover if you ask him. Once you pet him you pretty much must continue to pet him. Did I mention he is very affectionate. It really breaks my heart to have to surrender him. His original owner abandoned him, so he has some separation anxiety. He is really good with females and takes his time to warm up to males (trauma). He is a goofy and again, did I mention that he is super affectionate. Loves cuddles and to be touch. He doesn’t know what personal space it. But who doesn’t want this lovable guy on the.

Story
Lolo has a joyful personality and absolutely loves to be with her humans. She is housetrained, non-destructive in the home and her most favorite thing is snuggles and cuddles with her humans. She does well with her baby foster sibling and would be happy to have children to play with in her future adopted home, assuming proper parental supervision. Lolo has had several frustrating medical challenges since joining our rescue, the first of which almost cost her life. She had pneumonia so severe that one of her lungs collapsed. Luckily her foster mom made sure that she received rapid care and the rescue is dedicated to her ongoing recovery. Lolo also needs a dental extraction, which we know will make her feel more comfortable and have less pain. We will continue updating Lolo's bio as she continues with her medical treatments and as we get more information about what her ideal home will look like. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Daisy is a wrinkly 150-pound Neapolitan mastiff, a superstar pop singer looking for her forever bandmates. History: She came to MTM from Virginia Beach, VA.  She was purchased from a breeder and given to another family before being surrendered to MTM.  Likes:  Daisy's love language is physical touch.  Not necessarily to be pet, but she always has to know you’re nearby.  She will lie on your feet to be as close as she can.  She loves treats and will “talk” to you when she knows you’re about to give her one.  Dislikes:  She dislikes being alone for long periods of time and gets anxious. Personality: Sweet, loveable, playful, and easygoing.  Temperament: Gentle despite her size.  She is calm and intelligent.  Great on a leash and at the vet.  She takes meds with no issues and has no issue being handled. Energy level: She has low energy; sometimes may enjoy bursts of activity but is mostly laid-back and relaxed.  She enjoys walks but has no need for an intense exercise session. Favorite activities: Most definitely is laying on the floor as close as possible to her family.  Her ideal day consists of a movie marathon and simply being with her humans.  She does like other dogs, but her humans are #1.  She is also a beautiful singer and loves to serenade her family Challenges: Daisy wants to be closest to her humans, so if other Velcro dogs are in the house it could hurt some feelings.  She would do better with other dogs in the home that are not Velcro so she can get her love bucket overflowing.  She does have the potential for separation anxiety. Any Medical issues? Daisy recently had her double entropion surgery for her cherry eyes as well as TPLO surgery and is recovering nicely.  She still has some chronic skin issues so will need an owner who can give her a daily wipe down of her wrinkles.   What would be the best kind of home? Daisy would love a work-from-home parent.  She adores people, loves car rides, and would be a wonderful vacation companion.  A single-level home or limited access to stairs would be best for her.  She will also need an owner to keep her face, eyes, and wrinkles cleaned and able to bathe her once a week.       Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Our rescue policy requires the following: Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. We will not adopt a giant breed dog to homes where the dog will have access to highly varnished hardwood steps inside the home. Any inside steps to which the dog(s) have access, must have carpeting, securely fixed stair treads, or a non-skid surface. We encourage you to remediate potential safety issues while your application is under review, prior to the home visit. Methods or devices using pain or force on the dog to control the dog, or to deter undesirable behavior is prohibited. Applications for giant breed dogs must be submitted by the property owner. Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Pets currently in the applicant's home must have a history of appropriate veterinary care. Veterinary records will be checked. All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home. All family members must be present during the home visit to the applicant's home. Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being considered, before any adoption can be completed. Homes with intact dogs will not be approved for adoption. Exceptions to this policy can be found on the Adoptable Dog Page. Mastiffs To Mutts Rescue reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption that occurs through this organization without disclosure.  We reserve the right to make exceptions for special circumstances.
