Story
We adopted Newt from Partners for Pets in St. Jacob, IL in January 2021. He was born in October 2020 so he is almost 4 years old. Newt is a very playful, affectionate and cuddly cat. He likes to play, nap, and cuddle with you. He likes to follow you around the house to be in whatever room you are. No matter how many toys he has he loves nothing more than a good cardboard box. Unfortunately we are having to find a new home for Newt because we are expecting a baby and we feel he will not receive the attention he needs when the baby is here. He has interacted with large dogs in the past but never with another cat so we are unsure if he would do well with another pet in the house. He is overall a good cat that has always been left indoors, never ruined furniture, had an accident outside his litter box, or had any health problems. We would like to find a loving home for Newt and we will include everything we have purchased over the years (food/water bowls, cat tree, toys, carrier, etc).

Story
A beautiful cat walked up on us while camping a few months ago. She was hungry, tired, and needing attention and love. we decided it was best not to leave her there. We brought her home and within a week she started showing signs that she was pregnant. We're happy she found us, so that we were able to give her a safe and caring home to welcome her little ones into the world🥰. We are keeping the mother, but we now have 4 adorable kittens who are ready for new loving families. Although we wish that we could keep them together with us, we already have four adult cats, and we really don't have the space for 9 of them. We have a neuter/spay and shots appointment scheduled, which is what would be covered under the adoption fee and that fee may be reduced to $45 if we can get the spay/neuter grant. We will update the adoption fee in August as well as this profile will be updated after the kittens receive these services. Kittens were born May 5, 2024
