Story
*Indoor only* Hello, I am Dickens. In addition to writing many classic tales, I am also a huge fan of pets, treats, and playing with my foster mom. If you're nearby, I'll push against your side asking you to pick me up in your lap. I really enjoy wand toys, and when playing with my siblings I prefer to keep the high ground, so I can attack said toys from above. I get my best ideas for new stories when someone snuggles me. Come meet me and I'll sign my paw print if you bring one of my books. Adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip. If you are interested in adopting, please visit shadowcatstnr.org/adopt to complete an application.

Story
*Indoor only* Matey is a "Super DUPER friendly cat, according to his foster mom! He was brought indoors and now he can't get enough love and affection. In fact, he's developing his palate--showing a preference for wet foods with duck and rabbit in them over any others! He is currently healing from minor eye surgery, and has a life-long "wobble caused by a neurological disorder, but neither has slowed him down. Matey loves to sit in the "crow's nest on top of his cat tower, has adjusted perfectly to using a litter box, and really loves his humans. Matey's neurological disorder is CH, or cerebellar hypoplasia. CH affects a cat's cerebellum, which controls balance, coordination, and muscle movement. A cat with cerebellar hypoplasia can live a normal life with a normal lifespan. Most overcome their limitations and find their own way to navigate the world. Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip. Story
*Indoor only* Kendall is a fluffy, furry sweetheart. She climbed right into her foster papa's lap the first time they met! She will soak up all the pets she can get, especially on an extra soft blanket. When she is done, she says her goodbyes and heads off for the next activity. Some would call Kendall "chatty". She seems to have opinions on everything, from her preference for wet food to the correct position for a scratching box (flat on the ground, thanks). She makes sure her people are informed of her strict meal schedule, though if you offer soft treats she will sit patiently and wait for her reward! Kendall is a "top of the cat tree" kind of girl. She'll pop right up to the fifth level, where she snoozes in a sunbeam until it's time to play. She keeps the stuffed mice in line by wrestling them into submission, and chases after jingly balls. She really loves when you play with her, throwing toys for her to chase or wiggling a feather on a wand until she's ready for another cuddle. Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip. Story
*Indoor only* Celeste and Selene are sisters who have been together their whole lives. They're both lovely little kitties, getting used to indoor life after being rescued from the great outdoors. Both girls have become friendly and affectionate, though Celeste is more playful than her sister. She loves cuddling with people, and she even rolls onto her side or back to make sure she gets pets on every square inch! Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
*Indoor only* Selene and Celeste are practically twins--their foster mom has to see them together to tell them apart! Another easy way to tell them apart is that Selene likes to wait for her sister to take the lead. She is very curious about the world around her, but lets Celeste investigate before she will follow. They both tend to hiss when they're startled, but it's more of an exclamation than a warning. As if to say "Whoa! I wasn't expecting that!--but they're more and more comfortable with their indoor life every day. Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.
