Story
Conrad has a beautiful soft, shadowy-gray tabby coat. He's up for adoption as his previous owners had to move - arriving with his best friend Cora. Conrad loves physical attention whether it be short pets, pats, long scratches down his whole body, and even a good belly rub. He snuggles up nicely on your lap or curled up next to you on the sofa. Never stingy - he rewards your affection with seemingly never-ending deep soothing purring that entices you to stay put right where you are. Well-behaved and friendly both by himself and other cats. Cautious at first but also the leader in venturing out, he quickly acclimates. Overall a happy content gentleman with medium energy. Although he prefers snuggling and attention, Conrad does play gently with small toys he can chase and will banter toys with other cats. A good mix of playfulness to match his happiness quietly loafing around and watching the squirrels outside. He'll accept being carried around for a few minutes but it's not his favorite. Mornings and evenings are his favorite times for snuggles and play. He adopts the true cat lifestyle - napping and being low-key during the middle of the day. He likes to explore and burn off a bit of energy right around bedtime but settles down for sleep within 30 minutes. Conrad's a sweet boy and will make a great companion. He's friendly with people and other cats (his friend Cora that came in with him!) and should make a great addition to a home with other cats for him to play with! Currently fostered with: Cora I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Cora is an absolute beauty. She is a dilute torbie, meaning she has some tabby in her and some tortoiseshell. Cora was a great mama to her five kittens and now it's her turn to find her forever home! Cora is a timid girl - she's shy with new people and in new places. She takes her cues from other cats, so she'll need a confident playful friend in her new home. Confident cats help show her that it's safe to come out and play! If you have room in your home, you could even adopt her with Conrad, who is the suspected father of her kittens. Cora and Conrad are truly a one of a kind pair. They are an amazingly affectionate feline duo. They were living on the streets of Edina where they met and fell head over heels for each other. In Cora's previous home, she had a ton of energy and was super playful with toys and the other resident cats! She loved chatting, scratches down her body, and cuddling and grooming other cats. She's still adjusting to her current foster home, but we're excited to see how her personality will bloom! Cora would love a new home with a patient family, willing to go at her speed and show her all the benefits of indoor cat life! Could this be you? Story
Hello, my name is Jewel and I'm a beautiful kitty with a fun personality. I like spending time with my foster mom and will take naps with her regularly. I like it when she throws my toy mouse around the house so that we can play fetch. I'm pretty good at it. I've lived with other cats and have done really well with them! We play and chase each other. Then take naps together then we're tired. I'm also unbothered by dogs once I'm settled in! If you're looking for a companion and giving pets, I'm the kitty for you! Jewel is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Story
Hi! My name is Oliver and I am the sweetest boy! I absolutely love people and start purring just looking at you! I love attention. I will follow you around, sit on your lap and sleep by your feet because I love being the center of attention! I am a very big boy that loves to have fun playing with toys. Catnip is pretty much my favorite thing on earth. I also enjoy eating. I get along with some cats but not all cats are my favorite. I think I would do great as an only cat or with a cat who isn't too dominant (because as I mentioned I love being the center of attention!). I am not a fan of dogs but I do well with kids. You really need to come meet me - I am a huge teddy bear cat with the biggest heart. I am FIV+ but that doesn't slow me down! I can still safely live with other cats as long as I get along with them and I will live a normal, healthy life! I do ask that you take me to the vet twice a year though to make sure I stay in tip top shape! FIV can lower a cat's immune system so things like kitty colds can affect me more than an FIV negative cat. But overall there is not any extra day-to-day care needed for me! Oliver is fixed, microchipped, FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.
