Story
Introducing Daisy, a 2-year-old black and white domestic shorthair with the cutest white/black paws you've ever seen. Daisy can be shy and timid at first. She chooses wisely who she trusts. Once you have won her over, this playful kitty loves to run and jump and is always up for a good game of fetch. Daisy enjoys being around both humans and other cats that she has bonded with. She's up-to-date on all her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and litter-box trained. She's looking for a forever home with a family who will give her plenty of playtime and cuddles. Will you be the lucky one to give Daisy her forever home? Daisy comes from the island of Guam, a US terrotory in the Pacific Ocean nearest to Asia. Daisy was originaly named Batgirl (due to her cute little black mask) by a homeless couple that take care of stray cats in the area. We took her in to give her a better life when she was around 2-3 mo old. Her first foster home had lots of cats and even some dogs for her to play with. She then when to a quieter foster home with some school aged kids and 2 other foster kitties. The family won over her trust after some time and now have been teaching her to love humans. Daisy is currently located in Guam but is moving to Maple Gove, Minnesota mid-April to be adopted out in the Mainland US

Story
Yvette is a sweet little girl looking for a home of her own. She has come from not wanting to be touched to wanting to sit in my lap a lot. She will need some time to gain the trust of her new family. She probably would not do well with young children. She does well with 2 of the resident cats. She and the third one simply have a dislike of each other. She also is okay with the household dogs who are pretty easy going. It has been a long journey with her but she is finally ready for a family of her own.    Yvette enjoys the breeze through her fur as she chases a catnip toy down the hallway and zooms from room to room. After a good play session, she curls up for a nap under a warm sunbeam, slowly stretching as she sunbathes in her slumber. Yvette regularly perches next to her human, whether on the edge of the couch, atop the bookshelf or tucked into a corner preferring to survey the scene before engaging.    She should only go to a home with kids of high school age or above as higher energy younger kids cause her to wilt. Yvette does nip in unfamiliar situations, so she will need a patient and understanding human to give her time to gain confidence and trust.    ##1749241##

Story
Reintroducing SIMBA! This stunning nine year old boy is 99% lover and 1% cranky neighbor who doesn’t want any fellow cats playing in his “yard.” Simba came to us over a year ago after being rescued from euthanasia. He was overweight, diabetic, matted, had skin and nail infections, diabetic neuropathy, and was in desperate need of a dental. After shaving off some pounds, treating his infections, a dental visit, and some loving attention, Simba has been restored to his former glorious self and is now ready for a long-term foster home as his current foster is relocating to another state.   Simba loves being brushed head to toe, chin rubs, and attention of any kind. He responds by drooling in joy and with a roaring purr. Belly rubs? No problem here – he’ll happily present his belly (and everything else) for an extended tummy tickle or a four paw nail trim. Talk about easy – if we didn’t know any better…we’d think he had professional groomer experience. He is adorably wobbly (uncertain of cause but could be residual diabetic neuropathy) so we have added a supplement to his food to try and boost his strength. To date, his weakened back end has gotten no better or worse and does not impede his “zoomies” after a good litter box visit! Another fun fact about wobbly cats? It means Simba is the polar opposite of a counter jumper! As a matter of fact, if he needs to get on anything higher than a couch...pet stairs do the trick. He will want a set by your bed as his favorite place to sleep is with you. Simba has been in diabetic remission for over a year and has not been on any insulin. We hope to keep him that way by controlling his diet and occasional glucose monitoring.   He comes with a lifetime commitment of litter, food, meds, and all the vet care needed for the rest of life. What he needs is a soft, loving place to fall, and a pet parent who will be patient getting him settled into new surroundings. His ideal home would be a quieter one. Maybe with someone who works from home (or no longer works) who has no other pets. He’s been waiting a long time for the right home and we are committed to providing everything a new foster needs. All you need to add is love (and twice a day feedings).   Who wants to meet this boy and discuss adding him to your family? LET'S MEET! Please email s.o.s.representative@gmail.com for an application to be Simba's long-term foster. Simba is available for meet and greets with pre-approved applicants!   ADOPTION INFORMATION: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, de-parasited & micro-chipped before being adopted out. All applicants must meet our adoptable cats in person. We do not ship any of our animals to adopters. Thank you and please contact us with any questions. July 9, 2024, 12:09 am

Story
Austina is a sweet girl who is great with other cats. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but will come around quickly!  She is ok with small dogs but is afraid of large dogs. She does love toys, as well as her cat tree and hammock. Another cat that will interact with her in the home would be ideal. She has not been around children and the energy of young human kiddos might be a bit much for her, older, respectul, kiddos would be fine.         ##1749201##

Story
Beckett, AKA Beans, is a handsome little hooligan! He's still very much a kitten at heart and loves to hunt for bugs, bat around and chew on strings and toys, chase his tail, sit in windows and do kitty zoomies! He gets along well with the cats, dogs and kids in the home and doesn't mind when visitors come. He has a somewhat intense desire for human food. During meal prep, cooking and eating, we often put him in his own space so that we can eat in peace. He tends to gravitate more towards self play, play with other cats or play with humans using wands/feathers/etc. and isn't much of a snuggler. He does like a lot of attention, but only on his terms. He tends to dislike being picked up/held and will usually jump on my lap when he decides he wants pets. He's somewhat "chatty" too!   Would likely do best in an active home with other pets, especially another cat friend to play with. Fully litter box trained and an overall sweet and goofy guy!       ##1810785##
