Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey there! I'm Wilson, and I'm here to introduce you to a hunk of furry love. Okay, so my foster mom says I'm a little on the rotund side, but that just means there's more of me to adore, right? I started life as a stray, and my foster mom kindly welcomed me into her furry family. However, there's a small hitch in our household dynamics - the resident cats and I (all males) don't exactly see eye to eye. My foster mom tried her best to make it work, but it's become a tad too stressful for everyone, including me. I'm used to having the freedom to roam outside, so being kept indoors can be a bit tough for me. I love to watch the world outside the window and occasionally request outdoor adventures. If you have a catio or some safe way to let me enjoy the outdoors, that would make me one happy kitty! I have a bit of a defensive streak when it comes to most cats, probably because I've been a target in the past and had my share of injuries. So, I'd thrive best as your one and only furry best friend. However, if you have a dog who's cool with me, that could work too. I might be shy initially, but with time, I'll warm up and show you just how playful and affectionate I can be. While I'm not a fan of being held, I do enjoy curling up on laps and snuggling with you, especially at night. Oh, and I'm quite the food enthusiast, so mealtime is always a highlight of my day. One of the cutest things about me is how my head shakes in circles when I'm talked to or approached. It's super goofy and undeniably cute! In fact, here's a video of me for your enjoyment:   Good morning, Wilson!   My daily routine is pretty straightforward - breakfast, a preference for dry food, a few naps, play sessions, more naps, and of course, additional rounds of delightful meals. So, if you're looking for a loving, quirky, and somewhat round companion, I'm your guy. Let's make each other's lives more colorful and joyful. Reach out to make me a part of your family today!    Wilson is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Poika is a super sweet, loving, and silly *diabetic* senior boy. He likes to meet new people and be social. He can be quite vocal, like when he is excited, or hungry, or when you touch his belly too much. He loves to communicate, sometimes even with just his eyes! I catch him staring at me almost every time I look at him. He loves to look out a good window, though his eyesight is not the best, or find a cozy spot to take a snooze.   The quickest way to his heart is brushes, though!  He can just lay and be brushed all day! He also LOVES cat nip! *Poika needs insulin shots two times a day and prescription food.* Because of his illness, he can become moody and anxious/irritable. His ideal home would be quiet, and he should not be allowed around small children. He does get along well with most cats but can get overstimulated if there are cats fighting around him; so other mellow cats or other pets who are not high energy are just fine! A little history: Poika was surrendered to a shelter due to his then undiagnosed health issues. Once in the shelter, it was discovered that he is diabetic. We do not know how long that went untreated, but once treated, he has improved in great strides! Initially he could not walk or stand very well, his limbs were skinny and his belly was big. After only a few weeks, he started walking and jumping again! His body is much more proportionate, his eyes are clearer, and he seems so happy! We are uncovering his true personality through managing his health and well being, and it is a true gift! Poika is undergoing treatment for Diabetes.  Poika is from a local impound. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* What can I say? I'm searching for someone truly special. Are you a caretaker at heart? Do you have a soft spot for the underdog, or in this case, under-kitty? Well, please read on. My name is Grizzly. I was adopted as a tiny kitten and lived happily with my family until that unfortunate divorce. Since then, I've been bounced around from place to place, which has been hard and stressful for me. At some point, I put on some extra pounds, but now I'm on a weight loss plan and have already shed some weight. Yay! I'll need someone who can support me on my weight loss journey. Being overweight, I have some mobility limitations—I struggle with jumping onto furniture and prefer a lower-sided litterbox. Another issue is that I'm incontinent with my bowel movements. It's not behavioral; rather, I sometimes can't make it in time or am unaware it's happening, or perhaps a combination of both. If you can see past my challenges, you'll find I have the best personality. I'm shy at first, but then I blossom into a sweet, tubby gentleman. I adore tummy rubs, chin scratches, and being brushed. I'm also quite tolerant of having all my many nails trimmed. Do you have room in your heart for a calm, couch-napping, sweet chubby kitty? Grizzly is from an owner surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Girlie! She grew up in a stray colony, but she's now a wonderful itty-bitty indoor companion! While she can sometimes be a bit unsure, she makes progress every day and will tolerate some affection. Her most accepted activity is to be picked up and carried around the house. Once she is set down, however, she would prefer to keep her personal space. Sometimes she will allow for some pets as long as you don't touch her tummy or near her tail. Girlie thrives in calm environments and enjoys relaxing on her cat tower. She may not seek out attention, but she's fine sitting on the couch or bed next to humans. Contrary to her mere tolerance for humans, she LOVES other cats! She can frequently be seen rubbing affectionately on the household kitties of her foster home. If you have any questions about Girlie, her foster encourages you to meet her by sending in an application! Girlie is from a local surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Chong is a friendly, playful fellow. He loves rubbing up against our legs, and getting petted. Chong likes hanging out in whatever area we’re in. He enjoys toys and playing with his brother, Cheech, too. We feel he would do best being adopted with his brother. At night, Chong sleeps at the bottom of the bed, and occasionally under the covers. He’s solidly litter box trained. Cheech and Chong have been around dogs and critters and do well with them. Chong is from an owner surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cheech is a curious, playful fellow. Cheech is shy, but likes to hang out near his people. He likes sniffing our fingers, and if Chong is next to him, likes to be petted a little bit. He’s always close to his brother Chong, and always follows where Chong leads. These boys would do best by being adopted together. At night, Cheech sleeps at the foot of the bed, and occasionally under the covers. He’s solidly litter box trained. Cheech has been around dogs and critters  (guinea pigs and birds) and does well with both. Cheech is from an owner surrender.
