Story

Ember is a fantastic and chill cat. She loves lounging around, chasing toys, chin scratches, and of course treats. She needs a low stress household without other cats or dogs. She likes to cuddle, but is extremely afraid of being picked up. She is a very sweet cat, she has never tried to nip, scratch or bite at us. We had a mouse problem and that started her issue with peeing outside of the litter box. We had a baby shortly after and that change continued her stress and she kept peeing outside the box in the same areas where the mice were getting in. We have since moved and the stress of our baby getting more mobile and more interested in her mixed with our alpha cat bullying her she has continued to pee around the new house. We truly think she feels that she doesn't have a safe space to relax. We really don't want to do this, but we feel that this could lead to the best outcome for her.

Benji is about 5 1/2 years old. I got him from the humane society when he was about 1 year old. He is an extremely loving and attention seeking cat and always looking for snuggled and love. He purrs even when he’s sitting close to you. He will be your best friend and enjoys people. He is very vocal so when he’s not with his people he meows for them! He is a sweet natured cat and is so good with all age babies and kids. If you are looking for a new best friend, Benji is your guy. He is very bonded with our orange Tabby, Chicken, who is also on this site. I would LOVE to keep them together. They are brothers (from different liters!) he has never bit and always uses his cat box.

Chicken is a 4 1/2 years old orange tabby. He’s is bonded to Benji who is also listed on this site. Chicken is a large cat and he just wants to be loved and pet and is a bit talk-a-tive especially when he’s hungry! He warms up to strangers a bit slower than Benji does but all he wants is love and affection and to be close to people. He will sometimes find a nice warm place in the sun and sleep for hours. He’s very good with kids of all ages and is a great little guy.
